December 8, 201411 yr Since there's a bit of interest in 007, it might merit its own discussion area. Spectre will be released in October 2015. Apparently some scenes have already been shot Also, here is a death count of all Bonds Also, Bond Car, DB10 Edited December 8, 201411 yr by Zola
December 8, 201411 yr Good idea, Zola, starting a new thread for this. Wouldn't want to monopolise the Last Movie Watched thread with ramblings of the new Bond film! The official James Bond page has released a teaser picture from today's first day of shooting Spectre: They did the same sort of thing when filming Skyfall, teasing clapperboards and images from shooting. M's porcelain dog from Skyfall obviously plays a part in Spectre somehow. Judging by the plot of Spectre, is there something inside the dog? All speculation on my part, of course! "A cryptic message from Bond's past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre." P.S. Didn't realise Brosnan killed so many people! Edited December 8, 201411 yr by Blueblur
December 8, 201411 yr Really looking forward to Spectre. I've seen the last three James Bonds at the cinema and almost all the rest on DVD. Skyfall was absolutely my favourite of the lot so I can't wait for another Daniel Craig/Sam Mendes film.
December 8, 201411 yr Pity that Timothy Dalton made only 2 James Bond films. I thought he was a breath of fresh air after a tired Roger Moore, and "grittily realistic" as the cliche goes. My favourite Bond.

My favourite Bond. Agreed, he was one of the best. If it wasn't for all that legal trouble with MGM and rights and such, he would have done Goldeneye and maybe one more after that at least.
December 8, 201411 yr Excited for another movie, for me the best bond was Roger Moore, I actually didn't enjoy Dalton that much, maybe it was the movies scripts that didn't appeal to me, but the two Dalton films do not belong in my favourites. Don't like the DB10 either to be honest, it's a pretty car, but not quite a Bond car for me right now, maybe it will look better once it's in the movie. Nevertheless, besides Fast 7, this is my most anticipated movie of 2015.
December 8, 201411 yr ^ Strange, for me Roger Moore was the worst Bond. He just doesn't have the size and build the character requires. Him fighting Jaws is one of the worst mismatches ever, just laughable. I may not like Sean Connery much but I consider him (and the first five films + DaF) the best James Bond. My favourite is Goldfinger which incidentally also had the best title song. Edited December 8, 201411 yr by undertow
December 9, 201411 yr Connery was the best Bond in my opinion and Moore was by far the worst! Some of his movies were absolutely comical and ridiculous.
December 9, 201411 yr Author Hard to put them in rank order as they all brought something different. Personally I didn't mind Moore that much at all, I just got used to him from doing so many. If I had to pick one it would be definitely be Connery, then Brosnan (both for having it all in their locker) and then Craig, who is steadily improving, but still just that little bit too wooden faced for me. December 9, 201411 yr That's why Dalton was a bit strange for me, especially coming after Moore, his face was a bit wooden. But I suppose to each his own, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me & Octopussy are all magnificent films in my opinion. I can't argue that Connery wasn't the best bond, I think he was, his acting and the moviescripts, they were perfect, but my favourite is Moore, I just enjoyed the comic edge his character had.

I didn't like The Man With The Golden Gun despite Scaramanga being an iconic villain of the series. The Spy Who Loved Me and Octopussy were probably Moore's two best bond films. Connery was brilliant! He went a bit stale towards the end with Diamonds Are Forever but his first three or four movies were fantastic.
December 10, 201411 yr The Spy Who Loved Me and Octopussy were probably Moore's two best bond films. what you didn't like Live or Let Die? I find that Moore's best. I liked Moonraker too, but then again I a Space Nut.
December 10, 201411 yr I think Moonraker was good, but not quite on the level of The Spy Who Loved Me or Octopussy, Live And Let Die was also excellent.
December 10, 201411 yr I think Moonraker was good, but not quite on the level of The Spy Who Loved Me or Octopussy, Live And Let Die was also excellent. As far as Roger Moore as Bond goes, Octopussy is my favourite. It was also the first Bond film I've ever seen.
December 11, 201411 yr what you didn't like Live or Let Die? I find that Moore's best. I liked Moonraker too, but then again I a Space Nut. Live and Let Die was decent but not my favourite Roger Moore film! I did find Baron Samedi to be a memorable villain in that movie. Moonraker was ridiculous but nevertheless entertaining if you didn't take it too seriously. At least we got to see Jaws again I suppose.
December 11, 201411 yr http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/range-rovers-customized-james-bonds-spectre-stolen-germany-n266181 Some cars intended for use in the filming of Spectre have been pinched. A niche interest story but interesting!
December 12, 201411 yr By far and away my favourite Bond film is Goldfinger, I just love everything about that film. Best Bond car, the DB5 with the ejector seat. Oddjob was a great henchmen. Pussy Galore ("I must be dreaming") The golf scene ("that's not his ball, I'm standing on it") The bomb being disarmed and the timer reading "007". The laser scene has my favourite dialogue exchange too: "You expect me to talk Goldfinger?" "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die" I could go on but it's just brilliant to me.
December 13, 201411 yr Pity that Timothy Dalton made only 2 James Bond films. I thought he was a breath of fresh air after a tired Roger Moore, and "grittily realistic" as the cliche goes. My favourite Bond. So true! I find Licence To Kill to be the most underrated in the series, a few years back I would have said 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', but that's become quite a fan favorite over time.

Moonraker was ridiculous but nevertheless entertaining if you didn't take it too seriously. At least we got to see Jaws again I suppose. My favorite Moore Bond film is Octopussy, I love the score, the action, the pacing, without a doubt one of the most fun films, brilliant locations as well.
December 13, 201411 yr Goldfinger is one of the best if not the best James Bond movie going around! Just a classic all round. Licence to Kill is very underrated in my view despite its violent nature! Octopussy was great as well and I agree the locations were great with India and Germany being the most prominent locations used in the movie.
January 7, 201511 yr I'm a big Bond fan, I'm looking forward to seeing Batista, I thought he was awesome in the recent Marvel film, I think he'll make a great henchman. Edited January 7, 201511 yr by Floyd25
January 7, 201511 yr I'm a big Bond fan, I'm looking forward to seeing Batista, I thought he was awesome in the recent Marvel film, I think he'll make a great henchman. I didn't see Guardians of the Galaxy but I'm glad they've got a good old fashioned henchman for Bond to go up against. I'm also ecstatic that they're taking Bond back to the snow! Looking forward to seeing some cool ski chases. Nice and atmospheric shot here:
January 9, 201511 yr Yea, it'll be cool to finally get another good ski chase, there's been some great ones throughout the series.
