Even if the time added on was for "Drogba's antics" it was still time "wasted" that was validly added on - so don't see the point really of Liverpool complaining. If Chelsea had time wasted on throw ins etc and the time wasn't added on they'd complain!

I'm just the same, sometimes I think at least the agony will be quick if I just see what the score is at the end. But I usually remind myself that I don't want to miss the fantastic-ness (?) of them winning as it happens. If it's not on telly I can never usually resist watching the text commentary on bbcsport (can't bear to listen to radio) - in the old days, I could be known to just stare at teletext. Me and my son did that last season when we heard WHU were beating MU - quickly put the telly on and put teletext on and stared at the screen for about 5 minutes until it said FT.

Felt sick with nerves all evening - and especially in the first few minutes of the second half, Chelsea looked really rattled and spiritless. But what a result - and Riise too - who'd have thought!! (it would have been even better if it had been St Stevie)

at least the Guardian finally said something about Gerrard - their headline for the game was "Gerrard takes charge after con-trick fails"

I realised tonight that I was going to be wanting Arse to win 4 times in two weeks - I don't think that's likely to happen again in a hurry! Or has ever before!

The fact that that BBC tw*t decided to pick that out speaks louder than JT's action. So he didn't want to celebrate, it's only the 1/4's, we've gotton carried away before. ITV were no better. I swear that commentator - "Chelsea lead on the night by a technicality" - was willing a Fernabahce equalise, something I could never ever see happening with any other English team. F*** 'em all. Yeah sorry - should've realised it was nothing - just made me worry a bit seeing it - but you're right - I hardly felt like leaping around either!

BBC website saying "2140: No celebrating from John Terry. The Chelsea captain walks straight off the pitch at Stamford Bridge, shaking hands with Avram Grant on the way. Strange." Anyone else notice or can comment?
