  1. We'll not get into it all again, but this is the sort of bollocks I mean. It was a minor slump, we've lost 6 matches all season, only City and United have lost fewer. Only those two and Leicester have a better goal difference. Guardiola had no experience and no CV when he took over Barcelona. To utilise your school-boy friend's google techniques he "In his first season as the first team manager, he guided Barcelona to the treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League. " Klopp had "no CV and Experience" when he took over Mainz. "Ancelotti began his managerial career with Serie B side Reggiana in 1995,[25] where he immediately aided the team in achieving promotion to Serie A" "Mourinho moved into coaching, first as an interpreter for Sir Bobby Robson at Sporting CP and Porto, before gaining success as an assistant at Barcelona under both Robson and his successor, Louis van Gaal." The whole "No CV, No experience is just disingenuous bullsh*t to cover for a short-termist knee-jerk reaction to a few bad results and the desperate need to have it all and have it now or otherwise move on to the next shiny-shiny thing. @just is much better than me at collating all of your flip-flops about various personnel.
  2. I stand corrected. But then I don't spend time on other club forums, so don't know the depth of the feeling at those clubs, but specifically because we had a lot of people defending or even praising the managers of those clubs, even when they had as bad or even worse slump than we did. I think I was mislead by the number of our fans who were firmly in the camp of Lampard had to go because we had a minor slump. Though I stand by my view that a fair number of our fans have little or no concept of loyalty and all the patience of @Munkworth's cat when its food is half an hour late. PS - I can understand Arteta Out T-shirts though - Arsenal fans are the most fickle I ever met, and that includes @Slojo and @Brutos
  3. One of the critical things for me is that City started the season in a slump, United were pants for a long time, Arsenal are sh*te, Spuds are in a slump, Dippers have scored less goals at Anfield this year than Everton, yet our fans are the ones who called for a manager to be sacked. Only City and United have lost fewer matches than us this season. Only City, United and Leicester have a better goal difference, and United's was massively padded by Southampton rolling over for them. I've said many times, some of our fans and some of our board are way to easily swayed by the twattering types and the media, and lack any patience or loyalty.
  4. I'm not getting dragged into the relative abilities of the two managers other than to repeat my view that Tuchel has done no more than should be expected (Atletico result apart), and has done no more than I believe Lampard would have done in the same fixtures, and anyone claiming that we are now a much better team is either deluded or disingenuous or on a wind-up. My complaint was about the few whiney smug f**ks who pop into nearly every thread with their childish little snide digs at people who had expressed the view that Lampard should have been given more time.
  5. Haven't you been banned already several times?
  6. And she has a great affinity with all of the genres of music I like, apparently. Either that or she'll do anything for the money 🙂
  7. But I didn't do that. I explicitly said you and Brutos and, in brackets, "some other armchair managers". I didn't say this. I said your stance on Lampard changed between 2 matches and that I thought this was because you were personally aggrieved to lose to Arsenal. And finally, you accused me of When I said I hadn't done that and challenged you to find a single quote, you then changed your position again. Seeing a pattern here?
  8. Show me one example of me doing that. Just one. Get your google mate to help you find a single post. Every one can change their minds about something based on evidence and fact. Such a vast changing of a mind over such a short time-span as yours appears to be, and only prompted by losing to Arsenal is the very definition of fickle. And you know exactly what I was talking about. Express your opinions by all means, healthy debate is good for the forum and there are a world of alternative views about most things. Popping in to make snide, disparaging one-liner remarks about whether people will pop up if and when we lose is exactly what I accused you, @Brutos and others of. I thought you were better than that.
  9. Everything is enhanced by the addition of a bit of Raitt
  10. As @just pointed out, you swung the other way until you got all upset about the Arsenal game. And no, you're not just "having a snide dig at people who constantly give out snide digs," You and @Brutos are constantly whining on at anyone who isn't 200% over the top in Tuchel-awe. In my opinion, with the exception of Atletico, the bloke has done nothing more than would be expected, nothing more than I would have expected Lampard to get and the smug, childish one-liners from the pair of you ( plus some other armchair managers ) are getting tiresome. I've moved on from Lampard being sacked, but it looks very much like a small coterie of you lot just want to besmirch and distort the history of a loyal club servant. I think it's shameful, but to be expected in the society we have today.
  11. You gotta let it go now, mate. You and the patience-free spoilt knee-jerkers got your way, so you just have to face up to it and be gracious in victory. You and @Brutos particularly popping in here every 20 minutes with another snide dig just makes you both look a bit like smug twats. And, as @just so diligently googled, you have flip-flopped drastically on the subject, seemingly because you were personally butt-hurt by losing to Arsenal. Here you are, have a little sing-along.
  12. Local news today had someone from Bath City - he said they kept going because they were told by the government that there would be grants to see them through. Then they were told this week that they were loans, not grants so they had to cancel their season.
  13. Oh you silly bimbo, that's not how it works. Where's your pie-chart? Where's your youtube link? Where's your random opinion expressed as FACT?
  14. Alexa, shuffle songs by Mario Biondi
  15. But he would be no good if and when we play on Sundays because he's off giving kiddies rides on the beach at Weston-Super-Mare.
  16. So Petr Cech himself describes his role differently to you, the club's website describes it differently to you, but, because you have such strong convictions that they are wrong, you "read it differently". So confident are you that you say "I'm fairly certain I'm correct on this and I don't want to have my mind changed". That is the mindset of either a fundamentalist or an idiot who refuses to accept the evidence presented to them. I know who I believe the most is all I can say.
  17. I'm not sure what in-depth knowledge you have of the Chelsea hierarchy, so I am happy to be corrected if you do have that knowledge, but taking direct quotes from Cech himself about his role, he says " I work towards the game, making sure everything works, and then the responsibility is to the manager and his staff, not me." https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2019/11/23/20978409/petr-cech-chelsea-arsenal-on-his-new-role-as-the-clubs-technical-and-performance-adviser Where it is specifically stated several times that he says "the responsibility is to work with a big group of people, to make sure they connect." " Generally when you work with a lot of different people at this level it is run by departments. But there are a lot. The best part for me is connecting the departments. This is my biggest target, to make sure everything is connected and works one way." Nowhere anything about deciding or even having any input to decisions on sacking a manager or even reporting to the board directly. Obviously you might know better than Cech himself, though.
  18. That's just revisionist nonsense. We have always been sh*te under Frank, we never had a 17 match unbeaten streak, we were never top of the league and the fact that we have lost 6 whole matches this season is obviously so much worse than Leicester, Liverpool, Everton, Pikies, Spuds and Arsenal, isn't it? Oh, wait. No it's not. I have said before, where is the clamour from the dippers twatterites about sacking Klopp who has gone from 1st to 6th in a matter of weeks?
  19. When you were in top-level meetings with Roman, Cech and the board and you all decided that Cech was the man most in the know and had most influence, because you are deeply embedded in the higher echelons of the club, 100%. I guess.
  20. That's weird - I went for my first vaccination earlier and that came up on the iPod shuffle on the way there.
  21. Who actually said either of those thing? You said twice that Cech didn't argue for Lampard. I just asked how you knew that, because I suspect it is just an emotive exaggeration of your position. (Which I'm not totally in disagreement with, by the way, it's just that people making statements about which they have no knowledge at all needs to be picked up on)
  22. And you know this exactly how? I doubt very much that you are present at board meetings, or know anyone who is. OOOPS! Don't tempt the @coco-monster
  23. The loyalty I referred to is not the club's, though I dispute your interpretation of how the board has behaved over the years, but fans like you whose attitude is exactly what I was referring to. And some of us have a bit more than 20 years of that. Like I said, no loyalty, no honour, no integrity.
  24. I don't think ANYONE said they weren't interested in Chelsea. Maybe some of the FM21 armchair fans perhaps, but then they are mostly torn between their love of Klopp and Liverpool (current champions TM) and prospective next champions Manchester City once we stopped winning silverware for a season.
