I didn't want to come across as abit of a t*** but I do rate Seaman and he was top draw. He played with a great defence but he was known as a part of the famous back 5. Every keeper makes mistakes and in the later years of Cech at Chelsea he made more mistakes than usual. I guess we just see a difference in the importance of a keeper but I just have to look how hard Arsenal have taken to find a world class replacement for Seaman. I wouldn't know without going through each game but I bet Lloris and Schmeichel have gained there respective teams points in the title battle this season.

Seaman was a top notch keeper, one of the best in the premier league ever. Valdez wasn't even playing with a great defence, there defence was average but the team was so good they had 90% possession most of the time. A top notch goalie is worth at least 10 more points, a decent one isn't. Your fighting a worthless point.

Your spot on, Chelsea are not doomed if Courtois does want to leave, I think Forster and Butland are very good keepers, Butland is nearly better than Hart in my opinion and younger. Every pundit says a world class keeper is worth 10-12 points to a team and its true. Cech at his best was the most commanding keeper I have seen in the prem, Chelsea would be the only team to go to places like Stoke and say come on then hit us with your long balls knowing Cech would come for everything and that's with the world class saves. Same with Schmeichel and Seaman. I bet Leicester fans could go back through the season and find saves Schmeichel has made which has saved them points. Arsenal only got a good replacement when Chelsea gave them one :(

And lack of injuries really helped.

I felt he was abit inconsistent like booking Rose and Willian when he books Willian for pushing when Rose was pushing so surely Rose gets booked for pushing and the foul which makes the red. It was like he was evening it out all the time. Also when Mikel got booked for running over to Dier but they both got booked. He just started booking left right and centre.

It was like Chelsea had got into the spurs players heads before the game started. It all started very early on with the Walker kick out and then the constant fouls was ridiculous and even by players like Lamela and Erickson.
