Willian is an incredibly talented AM, that's a joke. You play him in CAM it is pointless because he lacks creativity and doesn't have the passing skills. Even on right wing he don't do much going forward, his quick so should use it to his advantage and get past fullbacks and put in crosses, it might be basic but it will create more chances.

Willians final ball is dreadful, he gets to the final third and he creates very little. You can see it alone in how awful his corners are. He gets away with it because he runs a lot, fans always love a runner. That's the similarities with Ramires who use to play on the right wing alot because he was prepared to run.

So Conte is going to play like Barca? Ok then If Chelsea stick with the defenders they have they won't even make the top 4.

If Conte wants to play two forwards then I can see it happening. I can't see Costa playing with anyone though, he likes to be the main man. Personally if Chelsea do sign a forward I think it's to replace Costa than to play with him. You wouldn't let Costa go unless a replacement is in place first. Just my opinion anyway. Chelsea might not even sign another forward but have been linked with everyone.

Does anyone really think Chelsea are going to sign another forward for 50m plus and then have 3 big forwards for big money with no European football?

That's your opinion, so all pundits, press etc said Hazard had a terrible season because he simply wasn't scoring goals.

The point about Hazard shows those stats up alone. Also it doesn't take in account the amount of minutes played at home, the type of opposition etc. Stats are well unreliable, you just need to watch the games to know about William and Oscar.

Playing William in the number 10 role is depressing, he is bad enough on the wing but putting him in the middle is even worse with his lack of creativity. Oscar creates more lol

It was the worst season for quality since the premier league started. Chelsea was the worse champions ever. Man Utd had around the same amount of points than when Moyes was there and had spent loads of money. Arsenal is Arsenal and will never improve till they spend money. City could of walked the league if they had a better manager who also didn't decide to tell the press he was leaving half way through the season. Also got to look at all the English teams in Europe who was dreadful. Leicester, Spurs and West Ham gained more points due to the standard of the premier league going down. Big congratulations to Leicester but it was a weird season where everything played in there hands like no Europe, no cup run, being able to play the same team every week. Going to be interesting to watch Leicester next year when teams should know how they play, playing in Europe and City, Utd, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea all improving.

After last season yeah but at the end of the day no Chelsea player played well last year. Even William was poor the second half of the season. As long as if Mikel finally goes I will be happy.

It's not about the type of player but the position they played, Pirlo and Carrick are better on the ball but played DM, Maka played DM but was better at the defensive side of the game. Kante doesn't sit there in front of the back four playing DM, it's actually Drinkwater. He collects the ball and has a great range or passing. Kante does the leg work, intercepting, pressuring etc.

There not similar players because I feel Kante is a box to box player while Matic is a DM. A DM in most teams is like Carrick, Matic, Pirlo etc. Players who sit in front of the back four and that's all they do. A DM doesn't actually run around the pitch because it will leave spaces behind him. Kante is more like an Essien, Fernandinho or a better Ramires who plays around the DM but pressurises the midfield, intercepts and breaks up the play.

You probably didn't even know who Kante was before he joined Leicester and yes he has had one good season in the prem. Stop with the true DM, a true DM is like Pirlo, Makelele or Carrick. Kantes style of football is nothing like that. I don't understand all this true DM rubbish, he plays nothing like that. Drinkwater is the true DM of the Leicester city team. By the way this is not slagging off Kante or defending Matic, I would really like to see Kante at Chelsea.

Difference of an opinion. I see Drinkwater as the DM, there's no way in my eyes Matic and Kante play the same role and position. A DM actually doesn't need to do much running because they rely on just playing DM and there only job is to play in front of the back 4. Kante runs about all over the pitch and going forward, that's a box to box midfielder. If Kante does that playing DM then there be gaps everywhere.

Tbh them stats mean nothing and I can dispute them. There different seasons in different teams against different opposition. The opposition Chelsea faced was stronger, last season was the worst year for premier league quality.Kante is an Essien type player, box to box so he should have more assists, goals and chances created. Matic is more of a defensive midfielder who allows Fabregas to go forward. You watch Leicester and Drinkwater is the sitting midfielder. Also when Chelsea won the league they was the attacking team and did much less defending than Leicester, Leicester are a counter attacking team with Drinkwater looking for Vardy, so they will be tackling and defending more. I'm not defending Matic who was awful last year or saying Kante is rubbish because I don't think that. But to compare them both after one season and then say Kante is twice the player is over the top. Comparing the stats of different kind of players is also pointless too.

One good season for Kante and one bad season for Matic and now Kante is twice the player Matic is. Be interesting to watch Kante because Drinkwater is the creativity and passer while Kante is the legs.

Can get good usable squad players for cheaper than 30m
