Andy Carroll
Thank you to those who are providing an actual valid discussion about this. Carroll isn't the answer to all our needs but he would be an excellent second choice striker or last ditch effort to get a goal.

Jozy Altidore?
Altidore is exactly what we need. Currently the front line consists of: Costa (okay when not suspended or injured), Traore (okay when picked), Falcao (chortle), Pato (chortle) and Remy (chortle). Hardly inspiring. Next season after we are forced to sell Costa and offload a lot of the team, it leaves Traore as our only option up front. Therefore, purchasing Carroll and Altidore would make a great powerful front 2. The only problem with this is trying to tempt them to come to Chelsea.

Andy Carroll
Time to accept that he is worth a punt. Scored against us today and was the best player on the pitch. Class.
-
Ibra was true, would you take Zlatan?
I for one would welcome him. Coupled with Carroll there is a strong front two partnership that can be forged. No more space for pussies in the team.

Everton v Chelsea FA Cup
Called it. When you bottle a season more than Arsenal you know you're in trouble. Sack every single player.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Real Madrid will be the only club stupid enough to buy Hazard after this season. Fleece him for all he's worth.

Everton v Chelsea FA Cup
Season will be well and truly over after Saturday. Chelsea 0-3 Everton. Lukaku brace, Cahill own goal. Time to move the rot out of the club.

Chelsea vs. PSG (CL) 09/03/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Loftus-Cheek has pace and power to intercept, find a critical pass and break up play. How can he be any worse than Mikel or Matic?

Chelsea vs. PSG (CL) 09/03/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Relegation wouldn't have mattered. It would have been a brilliant opportunity to shift out all those who didn't want to play for the club. Besides, we haven't won the Championship before.

Chelsea vs. PSG (CL) 09/03/16 KO: 19:45 BST
It does actually. People are allowed to be negative so long as they're already part of the established clique.

Chelsea vs. PSG (CL) 09/03/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Ideal team next season would be: Courtois Azpillicueta -- Zouma -- Christensen -- Rahman Fabregas -- Loftus-Cheek Kenedy -- Willian -- Griezmann Costa Subs: Begovic, Terry, New holding mid, New winger, Traore. Drogba as an assistant coach once MLS is over. Lampard coming back as an assistant coach too. So many leaders to learn from rather than the shower of pussies that currently pull on the shirt. You have the fighter in Costa, the drive in Willian, the experience in Fabregas, the pace in Kenedy, the youth in Loftus-Cheek, the power in Zouma. We have a ready made team that can show passion. It may not always win us games or win us titles, but who cares? I don't care if we get relegated season after season so long as players actually try.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Sell him. We should be able to pull in £50 million for him which will go some way to buying some decent replacements, but I would actually rather give his spot in the team to Kenedy.

Chelsea vs. PSG (CL) 09/03/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Exactly as what I've been saying over the last 6 months. No passion, no dedication, no willingness. Whatever problems were going on were not the fault of Jose's. His frustration and lashing out and acting like a madman were purely because he was as dumbfounded as all of us are at the team. They simply don't care when they go out and step onto the pitch. Think back to the 2-0 against PSG at home 2 seasons ago, and think about now. Where has all the passion gone? I realise that being negative (honest and truthful) gets you banned on here, but where are all the people who were saying how things were going to turn for the better all that time ago? Getting rid of Jose has done nothing. Well done Roman, well done Chelsea. Hazard needs to be sold as soon as possible. Terry needs his contract extended for 1 more season. Ivanovic and Mikel can be shipped out. The latter of those as far away as possible. Oscar and Matic need to be sold. The only plus point from this season has been Traore, and Hiddink seems intent on stifling his development along with Kenedy and Loftus-Cheek. Team for the rest of the season: Begovic Dave -- Terry -- Kid 1 -- Rahman Fabregas -- Loftus-Cheek Kenedy -- Willian -- Traore Costa They're the only players who look like they might give a shit when putting on the shirt.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
The league is inconsequential now. We have ensured that we won't be relegated. I'd rather go all out in the Champions League and the FA Cup. Pato Kid 1 -- Kid 2 -- Kid 3 -- Kid 4 Kid 5 -- Kid 6 Kid 7 -- Kid 8 -- Kid 9 Kid 10 Let's put Pato in goal so he doesn't have to run around too much because of his fitness levels.

Southampton v Chelsea - PL 27/02/16 KO 15:00 GMT
With the seemingly more difficult task of attaining CL football through the league due to the increasing competitiveness of the other teams, it stands to reason that trying to get into the Europa next season by winning the FA Cup would be a good shout, as winning it would ensure our qualification for season after were we not to land ourselves in the top 4. Anyhow, on to this weekend's game. I don't know how Guus is going to operate for this one, but I sense caution. Those predicting a 0-0 may not be that far off, and it may even work in our favour to concede early in the game to push us on for a result. Dream pairing would be RLC and Fabregas, but it'll be Mikel and Matic. Southampton 3-1 Chelsea.

Who should be next "long-term" Chelsea manager?
Just ignore it. Once he's finished sodomising himself with a flagpole hoisting the flag of St. George outside Chimichangas, he'll head back to his cave and forge some primitive tools to smash his face in and cause further brain damage. In a choice between Simeone and Conte, I'd take Simeone.

Chelsea vs. Manchester City (FAC) 21/02/16 KO: 16:00 GMT
Optimistic for this one. City have enough quality to win but I thought the players gave a good account of themselves in Paris. Home advantage and City thinking about the CL mean I think we might pip this one 2-1.

Anyone else just not care about the matches at the moment?
Really good thread, ShedEnder91. It's hard to feel any kind of connection coming from the club at the moment, and whilst it has nothing to do with the results on the pitch, the seeming lack of effort or loyalty coming from the players towards Mourinho/the fans/the club make it difficult. Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba were much more than just a spine of the team. They were all leaders, respected. They all loved the club and we loved them. No matter what they would put in that extra effort for every single game. Now that 3 of the 4 are gone with the last soon to leave, the club has been left wandering and the void in the dressing room has been filled with sense of numbness because seemingly no-one quite knows what to do. The real problem all those years back wasn't the getting rid of Jose the first time around, or even Carlo. It was not phasing out our legends in a way that hasn't left the team with any genuine leaders or desire. Terry is the only one holding it together at the club at the moment, and you can tell he's struggling.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
I'm disappointed with the result because I really thought a draw would have been fair. Chelsea applied themselves really well especially towards the end of the first half. I think they can hold their heads up high, except Hazard who I think everyone will be happy to sell. Here's hoping PSG don't get an away goal first at the Bridge. I like the fact that we need to score, though. That urgency and being at home will replicate a Napoli feel. We can pull it off again. In fact, the last time the Bridge was atmospheric was probably the 2-0 win against PSG. Let's see that again.

Hopefully Willian can bring his CL free kicks back tonight. Getting excited for the game.

Who should be next "long-term" Chelsea manager?
Simeone seems to be the most logical fit for Chelsea at the moment. High intensity pressing and counter attacks whilst being able to switch to a possession based game with ease. Atletico are our spirit team in Spain. They've managed to get the best of us lately. I suspect Diego will try and land La Liga this season and push for a good finish in the CL as a good parting gift with the club. He's already done so much to get rid of the dominance of the big 2. Frankly, Simeone has worked a miracle for even daring to challenge this Barcelona side. Barcelona of 2007-present have been the best club side of all time.

Our English backbone...
I would love for us to buy John Stones and Ross Barkley. I also believe that Loftus-Cheek really can be an extremely important player for us. He has his first goal for the senior team and he shows drive and hunger, something that has been lacking from the side for quite a while. I don't know why I like the concept of having an English captain, but I just can't see anyone else understanding what it means to be leading the team out. Chelsea fans have been spoiled with Terry and Wise before him. Both of them are incredible leaders and show such ruthlessness whilst also maintaining solidarity. It's exactly the kind of warrior grit we've come to expect from a Chelsea captain, and I can't see someone like Fabregas or Matic, or even Ivanovic replicating that. RLC has a long way to come, as do Stones and Barkley, but I can definitely see RLC becoming that captain one day. Big strong presence from the middle of the pitch.

PSG vs. Chelsea (CL) 16/02/16 KO: 19:45 BST
Is there enough of the 2012 side to champion enough of that title winning side's spirit? Who knows. If we were going to draw any of the big sides in Europe, PSG were probably the least worst option. It's a shame teams from the same nation can't face each other in the last 16, because I'd love a free pass to the next round by playing Arsenal.

Bebé
No idea why he got banned. He was thoroughly like-able with a keen insight into football.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
The lower price is supplemented by the secret term and condition that they have to take Mikel with him.
