  1. first game 1975 vs charlton we were 2-0 down got back to 2-2 when john dempsey fell on his arse and i think derek hales scored this bloke behind us starting giving dempsey all kind's of abuse and as a 9 year old i thought it was great cos i'd never heard anything like it before, went with me brother stood in the shed near the west stand
  2. it was brilliant erksblue, one of the funniest times i had at a match was in the east lower we were playing forest and i was right behind the dugouts, brian clough had been in an episode of boon and these two chelsea blokes spent the whole 90 minutes taking the piss out of him, when clough started pointing his finger at the ref they started shouting"i've been in boon young man" and "if i give up football i can always take up acting can you young man" and doing a superb impression of his patronising voice
  3. personally i've always loved the east stand cos a mate of mine worked on the turnstiles so between 1988 and 1992 i got in for nothing

  8. oh sorry i was only 8 when the east stand was built
  9. don't you mean the north now matthew harding stand, went to a wedding reception there in the mid 90's also had the q&a with alan hudson at the same time after the game great player right miserable bar steward
  10. this was new years day i was 13,in the programme it said trains to luton from st pancras £1.50 so me and my mate went from kilburn and got the train, when we got to pay in it was packed and everyone was pissed me and my mate were getting badly crushed when this geezer shouts oi stop and let the boys through so everyone made a path to the turnstiles for us,proper chelsea it's something i'll never forget, anway we pay £1.50 and the away end is packed all i could see was the crossbar and a bit of netting of the goal were behind there's loads of ice on the terraces, there's about 500 chelsea in the middle of there end, when fillery scores chelsea are the first team to score in the 1980's,anway after the game i meet a mate who tells me i could have got a train from cricklewood lane for 75p and there was a boys entrance which also cost 75p,so i payed twice the amount to get there twice the amount to get in and had a sh*t view but so what we are the famous cfc, this was also 2 weeks after we completly took over loftus road but that's another story
