Mourinho's Mistakes
Mourinho's biggest mistake is trying to turn Hazard into James Milner. He's turning us into George Graham's Arsenal. Chelsea's teams in the past think of Osgood, Cooke. Hudson. In the 80's Nevin. Speedie,Dixon, and the team of the late 90s Zola, Poyet, Di Matteo. We have always had teams with flair and panache.Sure we were inconsistent but so what that's what football' s all about. When your at home forget the importance of the game and you play basically a back eight what does that say, That you don't trust world class footballers to express themselves and you believe that the only way to win is to be ultra negative. I've said it before i don't buy this transition season thing it's like Mourinho's personal get out of jail free card. Do you think Van Gaal's remit will be the same i doubt it. I don't mind us not winning trophies what i do mind is the turgid football we have been getting. The Southampton at home game summed it up for me. We gave them an early goal yes but they outplayed us completely in the first half. So we bought on Ba and just hoofed it up to him. Now this will come across as disingenuous because we won 3-1 but it's not exactly showing much imagination and happens to frequently because we haven't or don't seem to have the nous to break teams down.

This is the absolute pits. To play like this against a relegated side is beyond the pale. On the evidence of this 45 mins this is not a team in transition it's a team in decline. Salah is not good enough for this level. Please show some fight in the second half.

Yes i am a half empty bloke it's an age thing ha ha. I can't agree that Arsenal are better this season. But no one can be happy that Liverpool are going to finish above us to say there punching above there weight is an understatement. There keeper is awful and the back four isn't great to say the least.

Bloody hell i seem to have become the Katie Hopkins of this forum. For daring to criticise Mourinio it feels like i'm in North Korea and just slagged off Kim Jong Un. I'm neither here to praise or bury him. But i just don't buy this transition season thing. It's like his own personal get out of jail free card. Do you think that Roman agreed to that with his form for sacking managers. People said that last years league was weak well this seasons it is worse. Man City have been Inconsistent, Man United awful. Liverpool will finish higher then us this season and we could end up with the same number of points as Arsenal. We've lost home and away to Basel in the CL and some of the performances eg against Villa and Palace were awful. As soon as we lost to Stoke everything changed it was going to be defensive football from now on. I really am worried about the Hazard situation he's done it before slagging players off publicly for not playing his way Joe Cole and Mata spring to mind. Should he be sacked no is he the right man if Terry, Cole, and Lampard leave to have a young team i have my doubts.

I usually post things on the vintage section mate. I am not saying i am more knowledgeable about Chelsea but there is no escaping the fact that there are loads of people who have never been to the Bridge in there life not just on this forum but nearly all Chelsea forums. So yes it does stick in my craw when someone who doesn't know the hardships of following Chelsea is really about and would never in a million years would have supported us if it wasn't for Roman. And is there a difference between the Chelsea of then and now of course there is. Me and my mates hired a car for Grimsby and to this day is still one of my favourite memories. We bunked into the full members final cos Wembley was so easy to bunk in to back in those days.

I see someone has to put you right on Cech and Robben mate. I stand by everything i say and don't accuse me of not being proper Chelsea mate. When you've been to as many games that i have especially in the 70s and 80s and STOOD on the terraces to watch the worst period of football in our history.

Prime time where are you from Bluehatter i'm guessing not London. We had a prime time striker in Lukaku but he took a terrible penalty against Bayern and he was sent on loan to Everton. He might not be the fiinished article but he's more prime time then Torres. He's certainly more prime time then Eto who regardless of press ethic Mourlnio said that he was to old more old time then prime time.

The fact is Mourinio won't be there for long cos he doesn't build teams he has a few years and leaves wherever he is. He'll leave us and then it's back to Porto or the Portugal's manager's job because no big team in Europe will touch him cos he's to divisive. As for Moyes i'd be very disappointed if he was our manager Bluehatter

The best manager in the world?. Questions have to be asked. In his first spell he inherited a set of players at there peak and had an open cheque book which he didn't use well. (Kezman, Jarosik. Boulahrouz, SWP for £25 million!.. Yes we won the league twice but lets be honest here we beat the scousers thanks to a Gerrard own goal in the league cup final. Nearly got beaten by Arsenal's kids in 2007 and beat Man United in what was the worst cup final ever. And that brings us to the scousers in the champions league we were a far better team then them but because of negative tactics we lost twice to them. If we were let off the leash we would have beaten them something which we managed under Grant and Hiddink. The selling of Mata was a massive mistake and he's trying to turn Hazard into James Milner, I'm sorry but some of you have to take the rose tinted glasses off when it comes to Mourinho the histrionics when we lose are becoming tiresome, Now i know i'm going to get a lot of stick about this but when you've been going as long as i have and as it's 30 years since Grimbsy. At the time the first thing i ever saw us win 10,000 proper Chelsea taking over the whole ground something that we did wherever we went in those days. So for all you bandwagon jumpers out there i can say these things because i'm proper Chelsea not some frat boy in Wyoming who thinks supporting your team is getting out of bed a couple of hours early to watch soccer on the telly

I've just got back from the match and have one question: Two holding midfield players at home to Norwich why?. We need to win against a team who are virtually relegated and we start with that formation. I'm sorry but that beggars belief

Aberdeen
I first heard 10 men at a night game at Luton in 1981. Aberdeen games were often shown as highlights in 1983 when they won the ECWC and they were not singing it then. As for " Carefree" replacing it with" Standfree" it's still a Chelsea original and changing one word doesn't change a thing.

Aberdeen
I watched a bit of the Scottish League Cup Final the other day. It was a terrible match but what kept me watching was the Aberdeen fans who sung Carefree and 10 Men Went To Mow all through the game. To be honest i can't make my mind up about this cos they are both uniquely Chelsea songs ( especially 10 men) and it sounds a bit weird other fans singing our songs. I'm pretty sure "Flying High" is a Chelsea original as well and other teams have adapted there own versions. Mind you in the 70's every team's fans sang "Walk On". I despise that song it really to quote Peter Griffin Grinds My Gears

Chelsea legend. The first year of me and my mates going regularly as 10 and 11 year olds (so far removed from todays football) with our Eddie McCreadie's Blue and White silk scarves attached to our wrists great days- Some old photos of me in the dressing rooms as a kid
That geezer looks like the actor Warren Clarke- Your most celebrated goal?
Zola's goal semi final of the cup at Highbury. Best bit of skill ever by any Chelsea player then or since. I knew we where going to win the cup after that and 26 years of winning nothing would soon be over. Oh and it was my birthday as well- Patrick Bamford - should he get a chance?
Fair play to Patrick he scored a late winner on Saturday which meant my accumulator came up- Vintage Blues pictures and film
