Our two remaining Premier League games of the season are both Sunday afternoon kick-offs and this is our last home game of the season. Norwich are literally fighting for their lives so I think we're in for a difficult game here. We should win this but against the relegation-fodder we've struggled a lot this season. Cardiff are as good as buried and we have them away in our final Premier League game of the season so if we pick up three points here we should take all six from our remaining two.

Manchester City are away against Everton this weekend and Liverpool are away to Crystal Palace,

The ideal result from those two games are a draw from the City / Everton game and a Palace win over Liverpool. It sounds bizarre but I'm getting the feeling we're going to see another jaw-dropping weekend in the league, this time in our favor. I really think Palace can get all three points from Liverpool and push them into the grave we dug today. When we crushed City in their back-yard they staggered around like we'd knocked the stuffing out of them for a few games and I think we've done the same to Liverpool today. Everton are scrapping it out for a Europa League position, which I really hope they get, so they won't roll over for City.

It's an incredible long-shot I know but if City lose or draw to Everton and Liverpool lose to Palace then we're bang-in for a shout at the title.

By this stage we may or may not be in the Champion's League but I expect us to field a strong side and get all three points from this.

Worth saying that our two remaining league games could be a great opportunity for Eden Hazard to get some fuel back in the tank after his absence, especially if we have a date in Lisbon...

Good that Norwich are in the relegation zone and have to open up a little instead of being defensive

We could have said the same thing for Sunderland...

theyve got games against teams in and around them though where they can pick points up. Norwich have 2 games left against us and Arsenal

Not expecting an easy game and my focus will be on Atletico until Wednesday's game is done.

I say this with the greatest respect to Norwich. If we want to have even a small chance of winning the title we needed to do a unbelievable job of turning our GD around in these next two games. I just cannot see Liverpool losing at Palace or against Newcastle.

They'll play like Sunderland did no question. The inclusion of Hazard could be everything for us as we'll need to be clinical in tight areas .

Even if the the pool or/and city draw this weekend that's still a lot of pressure going into the final game (games for city) of the season where they know they will then have to win if we are right there .

If we do go on to win the title it will be against the odds on the final day of the season where a win will win it for City or Liverpool and they somehow fail to do so . The only way this race can be in our hands now is if both teams lose this weekend which is unlikely to impossible .

Another possible scenario that could see us win is where City Lose a game (or draw two) Liverpool draw a game and win one by a single goal .....and then we manage to somehow get a net goal difference of plus 9 in the final two games which would see us on level points with Liverpool and with a superior GD .

Very very very unlikely yes but still..........if we gave Norwich the Arsenal treatment and Liverpool drew to Palace.........could be an opportunity on the final day .

Hopefully we don't pick up any more injuries vs Atletico. If we all our injured players back by next weekend (except Cech) there's no excuse not to thump them.

That said i'll take a scrappy 1-0 win with a 95th minute penalty.

I'm not saying that I want injuries, but after yesterday's win I think our squad could take a few.

I don't think we have a chance for the title but win this and it'll be possible on the final day, we have to stay in it mathematically, as much as I don't see both dropping the points I think one of them may bottle it.

Would like to see Baker get some time here if possible. Ramires suspended. Lampard still does well has had some frustrating moments this season.

We need both clubs to lose a match realistically. That's why it won't happen.  Hurts even more that we didn't even scrape a point against Sunderland.  Each team to draw a match is much more likely.

And in any case, if we can't beat Norwich and Cardiff then we deserve nothing.

Pretty sure that was said of Sunderland as well.

Well then, 2 more games left to go this season and we need to pick ourselves up and try and make wins of them.

Team wise I would really, really like to see Kalas start again, I think he deserve it. This could also be the last appearance at Stamford Bridge for Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard. (The noises we hear of late are to do with JT getting a new deal, not so much them). So with that in mind would like to see them start. Lastly why not allow someone a debut, maybe Baker?

Lastly whatever these last 2 games bring, let us all try and enjoy them since soon the season is done and we have no more Chelsea for a few months. Good for the blood pressure, not for the sanity lol.

Oh I forgot about MvG. Would be really good for him to get a bit of football under his belt before the season is done. Should at least get a good chunk of the second half if not start this one.

Lol watch us win the league now. City and scousers both lose this weekend and we win our last 2 games boom title. There's at least a 1% chance of it happening right?
