One of my first aways and a ground I went to half a dozen times. We went down early on the National Coach from Putney Bridge and then went down to the station where train upon train of Chelsea arrived, we never saw a Saints fan until we got in the ground. It was rammed in the away end that day and the one on one miss by Kenny Swain probably cost us the match as we were all over them.

Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!

The only time the 'circle on the roof' becomes an issue is when you're on a plane conming into Heathrow and by then then there are more important things to worry about, a safe landing for example, I hope my suitcases are on this plane, a terrorist's RPG, etc, etc.- Vintage Blues pictures and film
Some great football photos on this site (check out the Millwall goalkeeper), including this Chelsea one and I had that Peter Bonetti kit when I was a kid. If this is the Preston replay when the floodlights went out I was there, it's probably the re-arranged on played on a weekday afternoon. http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/retro/80833/the-black-and-white-years-15-glorious-football-photos-from-the-archives.html- Vintage Blues pictures and film
Same here, I didn't go to either of the cup games but remember a hell of a lot of Bolton graffitti around the ground afterwards.- Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!
What makes me laugh is how the big hard men of the South Bank let thousands of Chelsea fans who shouldn't have even been in the ground take the piss out of them at the promotion clincher in '77. Watch the video on youtube and Chelsea are smack in the middle so that's pretty much taking it as far as I'm concerned, or maybe Wolves were all in the North Bank with the kids, ladies and old men that day. - Our New Stadium
