Awful tactics. We were a better team last season. We had a good start to the season due to the momentum that we had from last season, going backwards now. Same boring stuff every game.

Oh for sure I agree, Haaland is elite level and far beyond Jackson. I guess I was highlighting the fact that all strikers miss easy chances. It's so easy to paint a striker with a brush by using selective examples...
Such as saying 'Wacko the Fraudulent donkey boy' is a better striker than our legend Drogba, because he's scored more goals in his first 40 league games for Chelsea than Drogba did. Bear in mind Jackson was 22 when he joined a fairly poor Chelsea side, and Drogba was 26 when he joined one of the strongest ever Chelsea sides 😉
 
I am in no means trying to convince you Jackson isn't a terrible waste of space, I understand that's a lost cause. Just found it interesting to see some of Haaland's terrible misses. Imagine if we'd got rid of Drogba after a couple of seasons for being wasteful and a diving diva...

Offering Conor a new contract immediately would be a masterstroke by the board. They'd win back the large majority of the fanbase with that one decision alone and Poch would start to become a distant memory.

It would be good, but with this board, I just can't see it happening. Mainly because they're complete w**kers.

Ugochukwu, Angelo, Santos, Washington, maybe a few more. No offence to them, but they weren't needed, and we threw away silly money to sign them and now have to sell players that are better than them.

What the actual f**k. So now we need to start again for the 3rd time in 3 years. Just when the mood was at the best it's been for 3 years and things are starting to look very promising.
If Gallagher and Chalobah are also sold there has to be some sort of protest again the owners. The only manager out there who I'd want over Poch is Alonso, but that's never going to happen. We will get a young yes man who will get sacked within 9 months.

Gallagher £150k a week for 5 years = £39,000,000.
You'd be looking to pay that at a minimum as a transfer fee to attract another player that:
1) won't give absolutely everything on the pitch for the badge.
2) won't be anywhere near as durable. Gallagher the only Chelsea player to make over 50 apps this season.
3) More than likely won't be as good, at least not in the immediate future. 

I'd be amazed if any top manager could win anything at Tottenham. We've seen Mourinho and Conte both do worse than Pochettino at that club. 
You really need to be at the right club to win stuff, and be well funded, and have your share of good luck as well. 
Look at how Ancelotti struggled at Everton ... and yet he leaves them and straight away wins the Champions League at Real Madrid. Top managers are basically elite at choosing their clubs LOL, and choosing a great starting XI from a great squad pool 🙂

Agreed. When you factor in the fact he bleeds blue, I’d say he’s only second to Palmer in terms of importance to the club, maybe even level with him.

Again he showed yesterday how important a player he is to us. With Silva now gone, we cannot afford to let Gallagher go when the squad so clearly lacks leaders and players who are willing to die for the shirt.
Just give him the new contract. NOW.
 

He is a beast, other teams would pay 60 to 100M for a 22 year old thats got 17 goals in all comps with no penalties, imagine him at 26 years old..

22 years old, first season in league. 17 goals. 15 goals in league bare in mind he has spent a month away due to AFCON. He isn't perfect but he works hard, dribbles past players, draws fouls, links up well with players. Just 3 goals of 20 which would be a very good return
But let's call him rubbish. Such a fickle view. He isn't perfect, but anyone calling him rubbish are just short-sighted. Give him credit where it is due.

Can't understand the criticism.
He was playing lone striker against a team with 4 at the back and 5 in midfield. He's not perfect but for a 22 year old playing his first season in the Prem he's done extremely well and is getting better and better. 14 league goals now - that's more non penalty goals this season than Mo Salah!
No striker has a great game every time - but he still popped up and scored the winner! I think Nico is fantastic. 

Give this man the contract he deserves immediately! Carried our midfield this season and he's one of our own! He's a class act!
