That Sterling Incident
That's exactly what I've just said though, you can't conflate liberalism with left wing. You can be right wing and liberal, most Reagan type Conservatives are very right wing and liberal. And why not? Broaden your mind, Peterson isn't all that bad he makes some good points, hearts in the right place. I don't agree with any of his religious views mind, it's like Sam Harris, I love listening to Sam on many things but there's a lot of things I heavily disagree with him on in regards to Government and foreign policy. I also watch Kyle Kulinski who I think is very objective and fair even though I disagree with 90% of what he says, the only people I wouldn't watch are the likes of crazy conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones and those lying reactionary hacks like Cenk Uygur.

Mateo Kovačić
He's not breaking play up like he used to, he was an absolute menace in the last two years for us, I don't think I've ever been sold on him as a great footballer although he is also underrated by many in those aspects.

That Sterling Incident
Not even remotely true in the slightest... left wing and right wing have evolved over time but even traditionally today in the last 70 years left wing means bigger government, right wing is for less. Left wing requires heavy statism, that's what the likes of Corbyn and Bernie Sanders want, more Government regulation, so to say that the right can only correlate with dictatorship is completely asinine... The pair of you calling Peterson a moron while simultaneously thinking left wing means less government is quite amusing I must say... You're conflating liberalism with left wing and conservatism with right wing. Would you actually say Milton Friedman is left wing because he strongly opposes Government? He's a true liberal, but he's definitely not left wing by any measure, he's a full blown pro-capitalist.

That Sterling Incident
Hate to get all political on this catastrophic thread but what the hell... Did you see the way they were assaulting people for going to see Ben Shapiro at a University? Someone went undercover and caught two Antifa members who were trying to smuggle guns in the hall so they could kill him, they're now arrested. Utterly ridiculous how anyone can be apologetic to that mob, they aren't fighting fascists, they're just fighting people who disagree with them violently. When you're going around calling liberals like Sam Harris fascists and nazi's then you know there's something wrong, their definitions of fascist are broadening to suit their agenda. But this is what happens with every label, just like how on TalkSport, their response to the Sterling incident was to go off the rails and accuse United fans of being racist to Lukaku because apparently calling a black player lazy is being racist due to some stereotype. What's ironic about that is the bigotry of low expectations, and creating this strawmanned stereotype yourself to argue against. Lukaku gets criticised because he used to be athletic and now he has become lethargic and lazy, he admitted it himself that he regrets bulking up too much. At the end of the day, we're all going to have different opinions, we just have to be sensible about it, I avoid from talking about politics on this forum because I know things can get hostile very quickly. If I only spoke to people who have the same political opinions as me I would have about 4 friends.

Mateo Kovačić
No denying that but how can he be used correctly in this system? It's either we keep playing Kante until he adapts and wait it out, or we adjust the system and play to Kante's strengths (which I have no problem with because the bloke is a complete beast when utilised). That's up to Sarri, I must say though it's frustrating watching Kante lately.

Mateo Kovačić
It won't happen but I would love to see it, Kante for me doesn't fit well in this team, he might adapt or improve in the future I'll never count that out but I would like to see Kovacic in his role and then RLC or Barkley in Kovacic's role, I think that would offer the best balance.

Jose Mourinho thread
Alonso and Willian are not average and I can quite honestly believe that nothing in this statement is even remotely satire on your end.

Jose Mourinho thread
I really don't know what Gary Neville sees sometimes and it's no wonder so many United fans have fallen out with him. How can he possibly say that many years from now people can look at Jose's tenure at United as a success? Because he won 2 (oh sorry 3, the mighty community shield) cups in his first season. He's spent a ridiculous amount of money and hasn't even upgraded the side, they look worse than where they left off with Van Gaal. Conte had a much harder job than Jose ever did and he won the league in his first season and an F.A. Cup in his second, compared to Jose's United tenure that would make Conte the greatest manager if you're setting these ridiculous standards for Mourinho. Every other team has upgraded except United, nobody even fancied United as title contenders before the season went in. All their fans vented frustration and all the self-proclaimed experts like Rio Ferdinand were so far up their own ass they couldn't see that United had huge problems. I'm really happy by the way, I never wanted Jose to succeed at United, I didn't hate him for going there we sacked him, but I'm so glad he was never successful there and quite honestly I never thought he would be.

Marcos Alonso
Emerson was pretty bad the last time he played though... And it hasn't really been a few months has it, the last few weeks yes but not few months, he's doing well so far this season. The reason I can't take a lot of Alonso criticism seriously is because people blame him for a lot of things that weren't even his fault, the Arsenal game for instance, not one mistake in that game was due to him yet so many people were inclined to think it was because the crosses where coming from that side. But the last few weeks definitely, that last game was horrendous from him, the City game he was also having a mare in the first half defensively. He's definitely not in good form but he's always an easy scapegoat.

Mateo Kovačić
I want to see one game of him in Kante's position.
-
Willian
I still wasn't impressed with him last game, one assist does not change his overall performance. He's not doing enough with the ball, if he doesn't improve this season I would say we are due an upgrade, him and Pedro are getting on now anyway, wide players have short careers.
-
Marcos Alonso
You would think he has played badly all season if you had one glance in this thread, there's always a mob mentality against Alonso. I don't know if it's because of personal reasons or what, he certainly hasn't been great in the past few weeks but he has still had a solid season overall.

It looks like a sponsor but the timing is impeccable, a few hours after Jose was sacked. If he did this intentionally Paul Pogba is one immature prick.

Absolute f**king joke, the Liverpool and United representation is ridiculous, is it any wonder they're the two most protected clubs in England? Actually you have to also put Spurs in that category aswell.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Absolutely, I can even forgive him giving the ball away twice at the end due to him playing in an offensive position, but he was making a mockery out of their defence. Something I wish Willian would do more, he's not taking enough risks, RLC looks like he wants to create a goal every time he gets the ball.

Brighton V Chelsea (PL) Sun 16th Dec 13:30 UK
Good first half, bad second half. Alonso very lucky on about 3 separate occasions to not get sent off, I can see why Brighton will feel hard done by. He was awful today, I was also disappointed in Kante again, Willian was stagnant, glad he got an assist but we need to see more from him, Kovacic was also sloppy in the first half. But other than that 3 points is 3 points and you can't complain. I will say though RLC is really impressing me everytime I watch him play, he looks like a new player, I love his confidence and I want to see him start.

United are 19 points off the top of the table, how is Jose still there?
-
Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
They're still undefeated, you can't write it off, but City are just too good in every area, I can't see City bottling it.

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
They're lucky, at least Jose rotates there, can you remember when he kept on playing Ivanovic at RB when he was getting skinned every week. He must have played the same starting 11 two times a week every single week.

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
Yeah, but you could say they were unlucky to even concede. I hate defending the scousers but let's be objective here, it sounds RAWK'ish to be overreacting like that and calling everything luck.

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
Let's be fair, they've dominated United all game, United were incredibly lucky to even be in it, it was down to their keeper making a mistake. Liverpool deserve the 3 points here.

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
Okay maybe not rubbish but he declined rapidly compared to the player we originally got, remember his performance against City away in 2014? Where he dominated Yaya Toure who was the best midfielder in the Prem at the time. The first one and a half years he was here he was superb, then after the Ashley Barnes incident at Burnley he was never the same, never had that form. He wasn't that great under Conte either, he was the weak link in that team and he needed to be replaced. I would say he was a weak link, not dead wood but not good enough for a pivot, so yeah rubbish is probably harsh.

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019
Selling him was never a bad thing, we just didn't get an upgrade for him. Let's be honest Matic was rubbish for us for about 2 and a half years, after that F.A. Cup final performance against Arsenal we were all happy to see the back of him. But instead we got Bakayoko to fill in for him and morons like Phil Neville thought losing Matic was the problem.

Hahahaha United have done nothing all game and got a gift.

World class Matic already giving the ball away twice.
