I really don't know, I've heard things about Chelsea supporters and Stamford Bridge being a rough place especially for minorities but I've never experienced that myself not once ever, it's always been a great place for me to visit. Are we worse for it? I really don't know, the train incident and the riots in Paris were disgusting we have to take some responsibility on that account, but the Auba banana incident got absolutely zero coverage compared to this and that does speak volumes. That's not me or anyone else wearing a tinfoil hat that's just a fact. It might be because Sterling is an England international so he's bound to get more protection and spotlight (even if the DM have unfairly reported on his spending in the past), compared to Auba who didn't get this sympathy vote despite actually being racially abused. Sterling there's still no evidence and here we are... The Chelsea racism narrative is a juicy narrative, there's no denying it, but these incidents do tend to happen quite a lot with this club. It could be a bit of both, I believe we have the 2nd highest arrests for racism charges in the Premier League behind West Ham (not sure how accurate it is I saw a post on twitter a few years back), so if that's the case, it could be very telling.

It doesn't matter, if you can't cut it when the going gets tough then you're always going to be inconsistent and have bad patches, tough times always come and you make your own luck as a forward. This is ultimately why I've given up on Morata as a player, I accepted a dry 2nd half of his first season, but his performances have been unacceptable, he's proven his original critics correct.

I agree, I think Kovacic is best suited for that role, as for Barkley he's best when given the freedom to go forward we've seen this. At times he is brilliant, then at times he's extremely wasteful, as we've pointed out consistency.

I remember when they had a bloke on Sky Sports talking about all the alleged atrocities Abramovich has been involved with and Russia's human rights, then we got all the comments like Chelski and Russian Oil. When do City ever get sh*t like that? Their owners come from places with far worse human rights laws than Russia, and City are much much dirtier than Chelsea ever have been. I really don't see how people can honestly say Torres was a trier, they must have missed all those games where he was sulking and giving up. People make up a lot of stuff about Torres when he was here, he was decent under Rafa and decent under Jose for a few months, other than that his effort levels were incredibly weak and so was he as a player.

His nickname was literally le sulk... And I'm not talking specifically about his Chelsea career, he definitely had his best career here and longest career here. Every other club he could barely last a season there.

The word Y*d is used a lot by many fans, even Tottenham, but it's only derogatory in a certain context and in the context that Chelsea fans allegedly used it last night, it is. As someone said, you would think our fans would have some more sense. The spotlight is obviously on us now, and the media are going to report everything we do for the next few weeks because it's a juicy narrative, but either way, it's not acceptable. Antisemitism is something that has been growing rapidly in the last few years, and it's not even exclusive for just one of the political spectrums, there have been a few synagogues attacked in the West alone due to anti-semitic hatred so I can see why and how people are offended by this, particularly Jewish people. I really don't know what the take is on using Y*d anymore, but it's certainly not nice in the context our fans were using. We are going to have to cut this sh*t out, I understand the hypocrisy I do, I know if we say anything like "poof" we'll get hammered for it in the media, while other fans can call us rent boys whenever they want. But the fact is the chant was pretty offensive to a group of people.

I'm confident of a win, but if we play as we have been before the City match, then the City match will be all for nothing. The City match must be a stepping stone, one loss and we're out of the top 4 in a very competitive top 4 race. I'm hoping we see Hazard-Giroud-Pedro in the attack.

Loved him for a good 5 months here, that's about it, highly rated him beforehand, it just hasn't paid off. Sadly we don't seem to get much luck with strikers at this club, however, we seem to always sign great defenders and goalkeepers were other clubs seem to struggle in that department so I guess we've got that going for us.

I've never thought Kante is a great footballer, he is a good player don't get me wrong, but the first half against City we've seen a lot of these mistakes before. Especially in games where we have a lot of possession, in the Newcastle away game Kante was slowing the play down, allowing Newcastle to get back into position. I think there are revealing limitations to his game in this position and I don't fancy it, I really hope I'm wrong and I really hope he adapts to that position but I just can't see it, he was much better utilised under Conte. I think the next few weeks we'll see, we have a good set of fixtures and there's no reason why we shouldn't win all of your next 6 games. I'm hoping this City game will be a stepping stone, otherwise, it'll mean nothing, we have to start taking Spurs and Arsenal very seriously if we want to get into the top 4.

Since all of you are doing silly little things like being positive and happy, I'm going to put my take. I don't think we are out of the deep water just yet and I still think we have problems. We have just beat one of the best teams in the world and easily one of the greatest Premier League sides, but if we don't use that as a stepping stone for our next fixtures (which are great fixtures for us to turn all this misery around) then it'll mean absolutely nothing. Spurs and Arsenal have hit form, we need to do better. I'm still not sold on Kante in that position, the first half by him was abysmal, he turned it around massively in the second half but does a good 45 minutes warrant strong consistent performances from now on? I'm not big on him in this new position at all which I've said quite a lot. Now Sarri will either make adjustments or he'll be stubborn and hope that the team will gel together in time, I don't know which is best I'm not a manager. But from what I see on the field is that our midfield isn't fairing well against a lot of Premier League teams lately, and that won't bode well in the long run, if that changes from now on I'll be very happy to say I'm wrong. Also, I think Willian needs dropping asap, start playing Hazard, Giroud and Pedro as out front three, I'm not impressed at all with Willian lately and I'm definitely not impressed with Morata who I think should stay far away from the team at the moment.

Like I said earlier, chip on your shoulder clearly. Not one person here has justified racial abuse, everyone wants the man banned if he's guilty, but due process is important. It's no secret there is a witch hunt against Chelsea (some would say rightfully so with our history) whenever incidents like this arise.

I think what it was, is that he was such a great centre back and he was in his new RB position, (which ironically was his main position) and he had a bit of a slow start. But it was nothing major or significant, just by his standards it didn't seem like the Azpilucueta we've been used to for all these years, however, he's definitely back to his best in that new role.
