I don't think we need to get rid of Giroud anyway, he has a good role here. Morata however, probably needs replacing, hurts me to say that. What a waste of money.
  2. I'm full Turkish background and I've never experienced racism in Britain, or any sort of "institutional racism", although not sure The Guardian that is full of SJW's and the PC police is a strong source for that. To say Britain is a "very very racist" country when statistically it's one of the least racist countries in the world is pretty damning, there was a study made by Washington Post asking "Would you live next to a family of a difference race" and the results are very positive in Western countries, not so much elsewhere. And to say that it sits behind closed doors and it has no longer vanished is having a major chip on your shoulder.
  3. Okay and I'm clearly arguing for due process, people are getting way ahead of themselves and it's always innocent until proven guilty.
  4. Because people are acting like the bloke is guilty of racist abuse already. And on top of that several posters in the thread are going on as if the abuse is appalling because people are mouthing off to him in the stands. I'm not going to feel sorry for a footballer on those wages getting a bit of an earful in the stands, racist abuse is another thing, and we don't know if that's what happened yet.
  5. I know, god forbid Sterling on his 300k a week wages can sleep at night after being called a "c***" by Mark in the stands.
  6. Rubbish, there are harder offside calls than that which are usually called more often than not. The camera angle isn't doing it justice, but if you put it level you can see that Ali is half a yard offside.
  7. The second game we pretty much accepted defeat and were defending a 1-0 loss, in the first game we were just ridiculously outplayed but at least tried to win the game. Very nasty season last season, even with our faults this season I much prefer it, we at least try to win games and play a better way.
  8. Is there a more adaptable and versatile player than Azpilicueta? I'm sure if you played him as a striker he would become a 20 goal a season player in no time.
  9. I've watched it about 20 times and I really can't make out what he's saying, how can people be so sure he said "black c***" ?? He could've said "manc c***" for all we know. There are like 6 people there at the front screaming it and one of the fellas was a black man, I'm sure if he had shouted "black c***" the black bloke would've at the very least looked over in disbelief but nothing. Of course the lip reading race pimping experts like Wrighty and Ferdinand will know though...
  10. I thought we were getting pressed a bit too easily, City are the masters of doing it but once we started getting the ball over the top City flapped. Kante was awful in the first half but very good in the 2nd, same with Alonso, Alonso getting done by Sterling like that was horrid to watch.
  11. Why are the likes of Iain Wright and so many others calling this racism? Look, I'm really bad at lip reading I'll be honest, but I just can't make out what the guy is saying. It doesn't look nice, but how can anyone be sure that was racism? I can't hear a word and I can't make out at all what the guy is saying.
  12. His pass for the first goal was beautiful, he's like a playmaker at the back.
  13. So so happy with the team, I said before the match that I would even be happy if we lost and gave City a good game, because they look invincible at the moment and we have been in a rough patch. I just didn't want us to roll over and accept defeat, but to go out there and win like that is unbelievable, it's crazy to think how bad we've been in the past few games then we can come out with a performance like that.
  14. It would be ridiculous to do so. I'll admit that I wasn't sold on Sarri, but I didn't know much about him, I do actually like the bloke and we were playing some great football. But I'm not going to get too pessimistic about it, we need to give him time, first season is always going to be tricky for him to adjust. I just really really hope we give City a good game win or lose (probably the latter), I really don't want to see a Spurs performance again.
  15. Always going to be a tricky season, lets hope Sarri can get regroup and at least give City a good f**king fight. The last thing I want to see is a gutless game where we roll over and accept defeat.
  16. I love Alonso but I don't understand why Emerson doesn't even get a shout, he should've had a full game today.
  17. Come on now... I get it, he hasn't been great lately but he's still by far our best player, don't be silly.
  18. It's odd how you're overly negative with Chelsea but overly positive with City, every time I come on here you're creaming your pants over Pep and his team and get angry about any criticism of City. I'm pretty negative with Chelsea these days, but I'm not celebrating other teams doing well, I want what's best for the club, can I really say the same for you?
  19. Yeah but it's PASHUNN when Klopp does it.
  20. I hope you're right, maybe I'm being impatient but I like to call what I see, but objectively I just can't see how Kante playing in the position he's in is getting the best out of him, the first goal was perfect, Kante tackling Seri and playing the ball into Pedro for the early goal, that's what Kante does best, but usually in our own half. I just don't want to see a repeat of the Spurs game against City, even if we lose against City I want to see us playing well and at least showing the effort to try and beat them. I think Kante gives us a much better resilience against teams when he's in a deeper position, offensively I think he's limited, can he improve? Maybe but I don't think he will, he is what he is and that's winning the ball back for us, that's what he excels at.

Very rarely agree with you but you're spot on here, if he or Giroud was to go I would say him even though Giroud is in his 30's. Giroud actually offers something, Morata doesn't, he's frustrating. He just isn't clinical enough it's as simple as that really, he can get into the right positions but he can't score the goals, there's absolutely no reason for why he shouldn't already have over 10 goals this season, he's had plenty of chances.

I've always liked his movement, but what good is that when you aren't scoring goals? I think he read Hazard's play well and got himself into the right position for the rebound, he does have those striker instincts but then he fails to score an easy chance. He's embarrassingly bad in front of goal and I can't remember him being this way before Chelsea. That chance he missed for Spain the other week was one of the worst misses I've seen in a while, horrendously bad, that can not be good for anyone's confidence.
  23. I want to see him start against Wolves.
  24. Start of the season we were great, even in the Arsenal game despite the last 10 minutes of the first half we outplayed them comfortably, both Liverpool matches we gave them very good games. But our November has been a struggle, we aren't doing terrible by any means and this is Sarri's first season. But we have to add in all the variables, compare us to the other teams right now and we don't look that good.
  25. Could definitely be a factor, but we are rotating a lot.
