I had Sky 4 years ago when you could watch all the big games, now though I'm not interested, I cancelled my subscription, I refuse to get BT also. I just stream all my matches out of principle, it's actually not that bad once you learn how to use the likes of acestream and what not. You can even buy a stream which is much cheaper and you get very good quality and the choice to watch whatever you want. Honestly out of principle I would urge all people to do the same, they're absolutely scamming the Brits with these subscription packages to watch one match here and there. Don't America get every match for free or something?

People are saying I'm overreacting at this, but I don't think I am. Our rivals are wrapping up deals, we haven't even sorted our manager fiasco out. We'll leave it until August when we make some last minute deals again and sign some more players that'll need a full season to settle.

It really put me off him, I heard lots of great things about him in 2011 & 2012 but he never really impressed me that much. And his attitude on "I'm going to play in the Premier League then I'm going to Spain" really put me off. It's always been his childhood dream to play for Real but things change, now that Zidane has gone I'm more confident in keeping Hazard. But boy am I glad I was wrong about him, skill wise and personality wise.

I think Frank Lampard will be a brilliant manager for Derby, he's always conducted himself smartly in the media, offered good insight on television. He actually has a high IQ also for the modern footballer standards. Hopefully, we can have him at the Bridge again one day if he really proves himself.

He already is for me. Nobody has won the Champions League more than 3 times, and he has already won it 3 times in 3 bloody years of management, that's insane. Not to mention how much of an amazing player he is, he has definitely been blessed by the football gods.

Not to come across ageist or anything, but Sarri will be 60 in January, do we really want to settle on somebody who's probably only going to manage us for a few years? We don't really sign managers with the intention of having them for 2-3 years, you have a long-term plan. It would be better if we put our chips in with somebody who's younger I think and actually wants to make a go of it here for a long time.

Yeah, but saying Conte has failed us is pretty absurd when you have no idea if that's the case or not. I mean the bloke has won the FA Cup and the League since he has come here, whereas Klopp and Pochettino have won f**k all and they've had a head start. Now don't get me wrong I think it's best if he moves on and we find a manager with different ideas, not somebody who's pragmatic and defensive minded, I think that style of play is outdated in the Premier League and it isn't going to work anymore. But I'm not going to pin all the blame on Conte for how the season went, and I'm not even sure if he failed us, because he could be right. What if the board didn't want to give him any of his targets and they gave him the impression that they would when he first came here? That would mean they failed him. We just don't know.

Hahaha I'm surprised at that actually, I do try my best to be rational but I do genuinely worry a lot also. It's just that some people on here make me look very rational because they're absolutely mental, I'm sure you know who. When we got Mourinho back things were looking good, I was very confident, we can settle down with him as the gaffer and get him the players he wants. Sadly it didn't work out and I thought our last summer under Mourinho was very weird. Signing a crap player like Falcao on loan who was gash after his knee injury, I was just confused and since then I don't think we've really gone in a better direction. We seem to be very hit and miss in the market, can't make our mind up, whereas the other clubs have a plan and know what they're doing. Even United although I think they'll fall short under Mourinho, but as soon as he goes they'll get someone else who can actually make use of the good players they've got.

I'm not saying we are going to be at the top forever, that's almost impossible. Ferguson always had United up there but he didn't have them winning the title every season, that's kind of what I'm getting at. I think at this rate we are looking to be battling for top 4 for the next 4-5 years, maybe that's just me being overboard and entitled. I never grew up in the era when we were sh*t so I've never had that lose 2 win 1 feel when following a club. I think you can quite easily say that United and City will be up for there for the next 10 years, fair? That's not to say City will win every season, or United to win every season or even both of them but they'll be up there. As for us I just can't see it if we keep going this way, granted we've won 2 titles in the past 4 years so it might seem a bit silly to say, but we've been very bipolar in the past 4 years. Up and down up and down, I just think the status at this club has taken a turn and I sadly can't see us competing with United and City. Now I'm gutted at that feeling because I've never really known much else admittedly.

I agree, but the reality is that if we don't compete with our rivals we get left behind. It's a shame that we're looking weaker than Liverpool these days when Liverpool looked like they were falling into mediocrity before Klopp. We, on the other hand, looked like we would always be at the top of the elite but something has changed in the past 3-4 years. We are selling a lot more than what we used to, and we aren't wrapping targets up early. As selfish fans can be I can't help but whinge when I see a crappy transfer window while our rivals are doing the right business. We haven't had a good transfer window since we signed Fabregas & Diego Costa. We have a great academy and I'm still yet to see one player come through the ranks, we've sold players for average fees who've been bought and sold for ridiculous fees since (and become very good players). And it looks like we could be losing Hazard and Willian if Conte stays or even goes, that's not looking very good. I couldn't even imagine watching this team play without Hazard, we are rubbish without him usually and he hasn't had enough good players playing around him. You sound ridiculous here, it's not all about the manager and you don't know specifically what has happened yet you keep insisting that Conte is the main reason for all of our troubles. And on what exactly? Hardly anything, we don't know the ins and outs so we can only logically assume that there is a fair bit of blame to go around, especially judging by our history.

Liverpool are signing players early. Man City are already doing business early again, bidding 40 million on Jorginho, a player we could desperately do with. And I will not be surprised one bit if we haven't signed one player by next month, I doubt we will even have this managerial situation sorted.

I do actually agree Salah was an anomaly, and I would never have predicted he would become this good, I mean who could really? But I actually liked Salah when we first signed him, especially after watching him play so well against us. First 6 months he was good whenever he played, not amazing but I liked what I saw, after that he was terrible whenever he played but he was pushed to reserves. I remember his shot that went to a throwing in the cup game against some Championship side This isn't hindsight either by the way when I say this next bit, but I thought keeping Oscar and getting rid of KDB was a very bad decision (even at that very time when Oscar arguably had the best games of his career). For me Oscar never improved, he was excellent before we sold KDB and his work rate kept him that place. I think that's why Mourinho got rid of Mata & KDB because of their work ethic, not so much talent. As for Oscar he never played well after we sold both of those players, at least not consistently.

You're far too harsh on him coco, I get it he's pissed a lot of people off because he hasn't been what we expect in the first season, but the vendetta is getting silly. Like when he scored in the semi-final against to make it 2-0 against Southampton, who looked very close to equalising, you said something "Morata celebrating like he's won the World Cup", it's like the bloke can't do any good in your eyes. Salah was only bad for us when he was put in the reserves, his first 6 months he was actually good whenever he played. Bakayoko has played over 40 games this season and has been atrocious. Have you been supporting this club since 2017 or something? In what way was KDB even close to Bakayoko of bad performances, if anything KDB was actually good for such a young age, you could see he had talent. He showed that at Genk and then he showed it again when he went to Germany on loan.

Pretty much the F.A. Cup final, still one of our worst players in that game but he's now being called a big game player by some of his fanboys because he didn't make any of his usual cockups.
