Man City Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 04 Mar 2018 16:00 UK
KDB was an exceptional talent back then and was one of the best young talents in Europe before and when he joined us. How the f**k we managed to f**k this one up we will never know, but I've said before that Mourinho has absolutely no idea how to spot or how to nurture talent. The guy was a menace in his second spell at our club, and I believe he managed to ruin what could have been a great period for us in regards to some of the youth talent and potential great players we had in our squad when he returned. It really grates on me some of the players we've let go who now play at an exceptional level for our rivals. f**k Mourinho mk2!

Barcelona V Chelsea (CL) Wed 14th Mar 19:45 UK
GAME DAY!!!! Everyone expects us to go out tonight. Everyone not connected with our wonderful (but sometimes f**king frustrating) club want us to go out tonight. Just imagine how sweet it would be for us to go through, while knocking out the UEFA darlings Barcelona! Spurs and United forums would go into melt down! Come on you f**king blue beauties, LETS SMASH THOSE TIPPY TAPPY PANSIES! KTBFFH!!!!

Chelsea V Crystal Palace (PL) Sat 10th Mar 17:30 UK
This! I've heard this peddled a few times. The premier League is one of the most competitive when you factor in the amount of teams competing for the top honors. But, when it comes to the next 14/15 teams I keep hearing they'll beat most teams from other leagues, which is simply not true! If it were true, how come none of them are competing for the Europa League on a yearly basis? Most of the teams we field in the Europa League, other than us, United and Arsenal, get their arses spanked!

Transition from Youth team to First team.
That paragraph is what caught my eye also. I'm at the stage now that I've seen us win the lot, so wouldn't begrudge any manager who forwent a few trophy's to blood some of our youth. In fact I would be delighted with it! Imagine bringing though a team like United did with the class of 92 and winning titles with it! I would love that more than any title we'd won in the past. But alas, it seems us and every other Premier League team are stuck in this "instant success" era, which quite frankly is ruining football at the moment. Well at least for me.

Alvaro Morata
Not a fan of Morata I must admit. But as 1 of only 2 strikers, we have to persist with him this season at least. I'd have Giroud play all our key games and Morata the lesser games until the end of the season. Although with the pickle we're in, all our games are key games now!

Nope, I also agree that Hazard doesn't provide no-where near enough for his stature.

Chelsea V Crystal Palace (PL) Sat 10th Mar 17:30 UK
Thought I'd wait until this morning to post my thoughts as I was a bit pissed off after the match. In the first half Palace set up with a 442, which played into our hands, giving us more space in the middle and our wing-backs were able to push up the pitch. Hence Zappacosta having a great first half which also meant that a little focus was taken off Willian, giving him that little bit more freedom to express himself. In the second half Roy realized his mistake and pushed his team further up the pitch, instructing his players to press us in our half rather than theirs, which as we all know is how our defense crumbles! Why Conte still persists with playing out from the back I'll never know, but we are sh*t at it! And again, he refuses to change tactics to counter teams and still persists with the late subs. The guy just doesn't want to be here!

I'd go as far as saying Courtois should be benched as well!

Chelsea V Crystal Palace (PL) Sat 10th Mar 17:30 UK
Yep, I stand by what I said earlier in this thread. We are not going to get top 4 when even Palace can play against us like this. Roy got his tactics wrong in the first half, changed it to flood the midfield and all of a sudden we are sh*t again!

This second half isn't exactly giving me confidence going forward.

Because we let them get their tails up. Should of buried them in the first half!

Excellent 1st half. Exactly the response I wanted after the last game. Keep it up for the second half please!!

It would take a turn-around of epic proportions for us to take a top 4 spot this season. It's not impossible, but we have to hope one of Pool & Spurs to have a mental collapse and then we go on a winning streak for us to make it. I know we are capable of beating both teams, but if Conte sets up against them like he did City, then I think we'll end up disappointed. Of course, I pray I'm wrong and we win our final 9 games and smash Pool & Spuds along the way.

Morning Chelsea fans. It's match day! Lets hope for a different Chelsea today. No more false 9, no more 10 men behind the ball. Lets play like the Champions we're supposed to be! KTBFFH!

Oh I'm not confused about why we didn't play like Liverpool. I'm sure we would have lost either way. What I'm confused about is how Liverpool ended up as one of the most deadly attacking teams in Europe, and we ended up as a team who sits with 10 men behind the ball hoping for Hazard to latch onto a flipping long ball from deep?! How the f**k did that happen?

Transition from Youth team to First team.
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/news/meet-marcus-mcguane-the-english-teen-making-history-at-barcelona-as-he-opens-up-on-leaving-arsenal-following-in-gary-linekers-footsteps-and-having-a-£22million-buyout-clause/ar-BBK2BtC?li=AAnZ9Ug Article posted on the other site about Maruc McGuanes move from Arsenal to Barcelona B. Where he talks about the difficulty in moving from the youth set up to the first team in the Premier League. Interesting stuff, and highlights the fact that changes need to be made in this country if youngsters are to get a better chance of playing for their parent club.

I'm sure that when the changes were announced, that UEFA said that a maximum of 5 teams from the Premier League could play in the CL. So in the situation Brutos suggests, the 4th placed team would drop to the Europa League.

BIB, Exactly! It's not so much the result, more the performance. It made me furious that we set up not to lose! It was one of the worst performances that I've seen at Chelsea. Fortunately, I'm not old enough to remember the relegation days, but even then I can't imagine the tactics as bad as they were against City!

Chelsea V Crystal Palace (PL) Sat 10th Mar 17:30 UK
Said it before and I'll say it again. Don't care about the result in this game, because I think top 4 is unlikely at this point. I just want the players to go out there and give us a f**king good performance! Go out there like we are the current Champions and punish those South London pretenders like the second rate club that they are! Put in a performance anything like we did against City and I'll be fuming!

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Would love to see him start against Palace. Doubt it will happen though. Conte and Youth don't seem to mix at the moment.

Slavisa Jokanovic
Don't know much about the guy personally, but would like others opinion on him. Seems to have done a good job at Fulham lately. Has he got enough to step up to the plate at Chelsea?
