  1. Wow, this bitterness is unbelievable! Firstly, I never have a hatred for other teams players, it's nonsense, because you never know whether that player you hate so much is going to become a Chelsea player. Just like Fabregas or Cole, two players who used to get venom spat at them on the regular when they played for Arsenal. And secondly, how many other countries in the world would hate their players as much as we English do? It's weird IMO? Just because you support a certain team, you can't enjoy an international match because it contains your rival teams players?!
  2. That's your prerogative of course, but it's all very Scousish if you ask me. I thought I'd wandered onto RAWK yesterday reading the other site, all very anti England!
  3. Probably the one player I'm not that fussed about coming back injured.
  4. And I'm not just talking about the louts out in the Netherlands! Was just over on the other forums, and some of the anti-England team bile is almost Scouse like hatred! Would have thought football supporters would be able to get behind their country!
  5. Never gloat about how other teams do. It's frankly horrible seeing those teams above us doing so well, while playing attractive football. I'm also a realist. We can't be the best team all the time, we have to accept mediocrity along with the success. Liverpool have had to do it recently, Arsenal also have been mediocre for a decade. It may be our time to miss out on the success for a while, so be it.
  6. Maybe a few of our followers should take heed of the BIB. Our stock is slowly falling away. Our style of football is one of the least attractive in the league, as well as the least effective out of the top 5. We cannot compete financially, for the moment at least. We could be the "also rans" for a while now, so best get used to the idea.
  7. Sorry, but bull. We play with 5 at the back when playing any team higher than 10th in the table. The only players past the half way line are our front 3......... Sometimes. He's defensive!
  8. Ha! Well yes, I wouldn't be playing Cuadrado next to Kante in midfield. But performance wise for Chelsea, Cuadrado just shades it for me. Not that he was any good mind!
  9. Pfffft...... I'd take Cuadrado over Baka any day!
  10. Just seen the above posts about Alonso, what the feck! Especially the "Marcos Alonso is 95% of our problems" part. He really f**king isn't! Most of our problems at the moment are Moses, our lack of a midfield and decent Striker, and an out of form Hazard! In fact, how Alosno is still standing after the amount of games he's played I don't know!
  11. BIB: this for me too. I've seen plenty of reasons why others want him too leave. But for me, I've had enough of defensive football. We had so much of it under Mourinho, I was hoping for something different from Conte, but he's just as defensive as Mourinho, just not as good at it! Boring defensive football leads to disinterested players, leads to a drop in form.
  12. BIB: What has he won to suggest that?
  13. Poor lad. As the saying goes - What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Good luck to the lad.
  14. Win the FA Cup, then blood some youths for the rest of the season. At least let's get something positive out of this awful season.
  15. Would mean one of Emerson or Marcos leaving. Can't see it myself.
  16. Disgusting people who are fan's only when we do well I'm not a fan of Tibo, but some of the abuse he's getting on social media is disgusting. By all means be unhappy with his performance, but to go as far as some of those so called fans have is out of order.
  17. Touche. Durham is a pillock, I know. But I'm not going over old ground again, my point still stands.
  18. Comparing him to other players in our squad isn't hard really. Nobody has really stepped up this season in regards to attacking, except maybe Willian in the second half of the season. And even then Hazards stats are not that much better than Willians! When you look at Edens 11 goals and 3 assists in 26 Premier League appearances this season and look around the League at some of the so called "lesser players" who are contributing much more, doesn't it make you wonder why he can't contribute more? If I'm going to be fair to Hazard, there are other contributing reasons that we are not getting the most out of him. I don't think the formation and tactics we currently deploy suit his style of play for starters. And I also think with a better midfield and a decent striker Hazards all round play would improve. But as it stands, if he is to be considered as our most important player, he needs to step up and prove it on the pitch.
  19. This I agree with. Get him involved with the youth, and get Jody Morris more involved in the first team squad.
  20. As a coach maybe, not quite ready for management IMO.
  21. Liverpool have added to their squad with some fantastic players over the past few years, even though they spent a few years out of the Champions League. Manchester United did the same. Even Arsenal got Aubameyang without the guarantee of being in the Champions League next season! So that bollocks about players not joining because of the lack of CL football is complete and utter bull. That doesn't mean that we're going to sign any of the above players. Bailey is an option, as as far as I'm aware, he favors a move to us. If we get Jokanovic in as manager, there is a chance that Sessegnon will follow him. But it's all guessing and dreaming at the moment.
  22. This is why, even though he is obviously far more skilled than someone like Salah, Salah adds so much more than Hazard does which is why, if I had the choice, I'd swap them in a second. Only three things matter in football: Goals, Assists and Goals conceded. Hazard is suppose to contribute to the first two, which he hasn't done anywhere near enough this season. I must add a post script to this though. I do think Hazard would thrive much more in a more attacking set up than we currently play. In a team like Real, City or Pool, I believe he'd be far more consistent.
  23. Of course. We have the talent in our squad to give anyone a game, so Spuds and Pool should obviously take notice. However, I do think that part of the reason that we had more of a go at the Nou Camp is that after Barcelona scored, they fell back into a more control set-up, rather than the gung-ho set-up they usually play, knowing we'd have to come at them, leaving them more space for the counter. That's why, even though I was happy with the response we had to going 1 down, I'm not giving us all the credit.
