There's so much I would like to say to those who want Christensen over Luiz, but I'm way too busy at the moment. But in short, we will lose so much more having Christensen in the team over Luiz. Luiz is far more resilient to pressing than Christensen (very evident last season). And contrary to popular belief, Christensen's passing leaves a lot to be desired. Christensen is still young and is definitely a quality CB, but for how Sarri wants to play, he's not quite there yet.

Didn't I hear somewhere that the MotD producer was Scouse?

And to kick it off. Talk about selective editing! They made the game look a lot closer than it was, especially in the second half. They didn't even show Alonso hitting the bar!

Unless those errors mean actually throwing the ball into your own net, then those stats are bullsh*t. Tibbles made loads of f**k ups last season. The guy can't seem to save anything at the near post and lets in far to much between his legs. In fact, all he seems to be good at is catching balls from crosses!

This! Klopp will get an easy ride, unless they finish in the bottom half that is. Never known a least deserving team to get so much praise!

I must admit, it's far better on here than on the other forums, but bloody hell! Did some of you really expect to go into this game with a realistic chance of beating City? Considering who we had missing and City's strength in depth, I thought it was a obvious a positive result was going to be the outside bet for us. all I wanted for this game was an improvement from the City games last season, and we definitely got that. We will improve this season.

Oh well. Still work to be done.

Although I believe Sarri's style of play is going to be a breath of fresh air for us this season, I do think we are still short of a few players to push us on to league winning form. As it stands, if we sign no more players this window, I think we'll finish 3rd/4th. I my opinion it's between City and Liverpool for the title. Liverpool IMO being the slightly better team, if they can manage to turn those draws/loses against lower league opposition into wins then I can't see past them for the title. (spit)! Then I think it will be between us, Arsenal and Spurs for 3rd and 4th, with United finishing outside the top 4.

I do despair, I really do. I tell you what, you worry all you want, about the board, about the quality of our players, about whatever you want. I'm just going to enjoy the up coming season and judge the club at the end. Toodaloo.

With it looking more likely now that Willian and Hazard are both staying put, I'm happy now with the squad we go into the season with. My only concern is up front. Not sure if Morata is good enough to lead the line, and Tammy probably needs another year on loan. I'd be more than happy to give Bats another shot up front, but it's still a risk. I still have no idea who we are going to start as No1 GK yet though. Most likely start like this: GK Dave Luiz Rudiger Alonso kante Barkley Jorginho Willian Giroud Hazard

Worried about what exactly? How are things being handled that you don't agree with? Please give some examples. And please provide proof as well. And don't use any media speculation as proof that the club is poorly run as well.

These are three posts from just 1 page from one poster (you)! I know it's just your opinion but bloody hell! And then when you add on the rest of the nonsense posted on here on a daily basis, you'd think that the club was on the verge of administration! We have two weeks until the window closes, and the rest of our team to return from their holidays. And then we've got a whole season to get through. Once all is done and dusted and the season's finished, then we'll know whether this transfer window has been productive or not.
