Following our nearest and dearest rivals
They've struggled ever since Fellaini went off. Arteta looks far from match fit and Cahill offers very little. You wouldn't know that they've had an extra man for over half the match which speaks volumes.

NOT GUILTY
Huzzah, great news. I wonder how the red tops will put a negative spin on this.

Arsenal's defense on the Rooney goal was shockingly bad, although he still took it well to be fair to him. Can't see Arsenal getting anything out of this game, if anything Man Utd will put a couple more goals past them.

Anything Piers Morgan writes or says should be treated with utter contempt, the man speaks nothing but a*se gravy.

Plus a helpful map to the location of Terry's house. All in the publics interest of course.

And so it begins: Embarrassing John Terry must give up England captaincy (Telegraph) Personally I don't give a f*ck but this story will run and run, so we're going have to get used to this kind of journalistic tripe for the foreseeable future.

Looks like he'll be going to Man City: Johnson wants City talks (Sky Sports) Cue newspaper headlines saying we were snubbed again. ;)

African Cup of Nations
Am I right in thinking that Drogba picked up a one match ban prior to going to the ACN and that he will serve it upon his return?

Both teams bar Rooney and Tevez were very average.

Somebody better tell Clattenburg that he's got an admirer, because it looks like Wenger isn't the only manager with voyeuristic tendencies.

Last Movie You Watched
Last movie I saw was Moon starring the super talented Sam Rockwell and I thoroughly enjoyed it, a thoughtful Sci-Fi film with plenty of nods to the classics of the genre and considering it's mere $5million budget it looked brilliant. I'm going to experience the other end of the budget scale on Tuesday as I'm going to see Avatar.

Roman's New Years Eve Party
My invitation must have been lost in the post. Roman Abramovich kicks off the decade in style with a star-studded £3million party on his St Bart's estate If he can spend that amount on a party (not to mention the £54 million on his new estate) me thinks he can afford to get Agüero in, come on Roman, get your cheque book out.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
Since we beat Arsenal we've had 1 win in 7 in all competitions and 1 in in 5 in the Prem. That's simply not good enough. Joe Hart may have played his socks off but with the team Carlo selected today, not to mention his substitutions, we played right into Birmingham's hands.

I spoke too soon. That sending off summed up his game. Sh*t.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
How Malouda has stayed on for the entire game is beyond me. He's been woeful at best.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
So Malouda who had a nightmare against West Ham gets rewarded with another start, Zhirkov who came on and was one of our better players gets rewarded with the bench again. Makes perfect sense. Nice to see Sturridge get a start though.

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
Well we let Man Utd of the hook with that rubbish performance. Far too many players were mediocre at best, Ballack being the worst offender, he was sh*te but that's nothing new. We seem to be handicapping ourselves every game by picking players who just aren't up to it. On a positive note Sturridge and Zhirkov played quite well, it would be nice if they get a start against Birmingham.

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
I can't think of anything positive from that first half. Something just seems to not be clicking out there today, far too many forced/wayward passes and players not contributing anything of any substance.

Chelsea vs Portsmouth (Prem) 16/12/09 1945 KO
Would've preferred to see Malouda start over Deco and when is Zhirkov going to get a regular run of games?!?

Correct Score poll vs Wolves
With our current injury list and the fact we some times struggle after an international break I can't see this being a walkover but I do think we'll win 3-0.
