I didn't use the word regarded quite deliberately, I've said many times that I watch TBO a lot when we was at Ateleit, and at no point did i ever think he was better the cech, he made some great camera saves and his dominance from the deep cross was impressive. But alot of that came as a result of his athletasisem, his positioning was always terrible and why he chooses not to have men on the post I will never understand. Any way, TBO had a good season last year, not to the point I would refer to him as the best in the world but he had a good season, this one not been so good and a lot of what happens now comes down to his humility. The reason for the comparisons, is Enigma's statement that Cech was still a work in progress when actually he was the very best. It's no longer relevent to make the comparisions as Cech is no longer a chelsea player

No time right now but I read the Carlo bit, I have always stood by the simple fact that I don't rate Carlo as top brass, in the season we won the league I fealt player for player we where the best team by some way, Ronaldo leaving United hurt them but games where either score a million goals or grind and you could see the inevitable some times, Blackburn away as a prime example that season. So yes I was ok with Carlo because I never really rated him, I still rare Jose as one of the best in the world and that's why I'm happy to afford him the credit that I wasn't Carlo. For me it's simple, I rate one highly and not the other

If it was your first season in charge I would agree with you..... This shouldn't be looked at in isolation, fact is we have won 3 league titles with Jose, multiple cups. That credit should have been taken in to account for me. The truth is, we haven't really improved since Gus has come in, a couple of players have looked better but as a team you wouldn't say we are top notch. A couple of the losses we had have become draws, but in general you can't tell me that finishing 10th with half a season to play was what Roman expected. Also, perhaps you are over estimating the players listed above. All look talented on paper but I think we have enough evidence to suggest that there is a lack of leaders in that list, a lack of players who stand up with the sh*t hits the fan

I think the bar is different DKW and rightly so. Oscar cost a lot of money nearlly 4 years ago now. A player in his position would be stamping his authority on to games, not every game but it should be happening, and he's just not doing it. For the most part yesterday i felt play more often then not came to an end or slowed significantly when he got the ball. Rubens came on and looked to drive us forward at pace. Lost the ball once or twice but again, we are talking about a 19 year old who is finding his feet in one of the best teams in europe, so he deserves a little slack. I think the general feeling is now that we would rather see Oscar's min's got to RLC who can use them to develop, especially this season. This is not like Matic who you can quite clearly see is no where near his form of the last 1.5 years and for all of mikel's good form he's in no way the same monster and in form Matic is or Hazard who dominated all last season. With oscar you have a whole in the team where you occasionally saw glimpses of brilliance but all to fleeing, his best run probably being the beginning of Jose's second stint. At some point in peoples mind's he not only becomes a player who just doesn't cut it on match day but now one that is directly hindering the progress of a youth product and a hope. Yes thats on the manager as well but its the reason people are making the the comparisions.

Every keeper at youth level is taught that you should start 3 quarters of the way back from corners - the logic is that it's easier to run forwards then backwards Every keeper at youth level is taught to show the attacker the near post, try and force him there and he will more often then not take it, the general concuss being that if you can go across me and score fair play, it's a lot harder then slotting it in at the near post. Basically you shouldn't be conceding there to often and he does He was making the same mistakes at Madrid and I posted the same post back then. What he has got is great athleticism and hand eye co-ordination, some of the reflex saves he has made have been top top notch and last season he was towering above all when coming to collect deep crosses. The injury seem's to have affected him and in addition he seems to negate the basics.

His positioning has always had question marks over it, but he compensated with his reflexes and dominance in the air, that stuff seems to have gone and he is looking a very average keeper at the moment
