I really want this to happen, hargreaves some how made a name for him self in the world cup because he ran around a lot while the better players around him played absolutely shocking!! On closer inspection people would have noticed he gave away a stupid amount of fouls, his first touch let him down more often than not and his decision making was often hesitant , and he was never where he should be!! His standard is probably some where around the bouro mark!! And 25 mill for this player, Brilliant!!

He's every bit as good as ronnaldo, if not better!!! Needs some dicepline and maybe lacks ronnaldo's desire to win but tallent wise there is no question But he has played CL football this season and will be playing it against us soon so wont happen

Ballack has improved lately and in our last game he was one of the best in my oppinion. Im baffeled, not just by you, moose but also by severl others, where is this lyalty to ballak coming from? some things i read you'd think some where deffending there very own family!! Ballak has not been bad this season, he has not been awfull, he has been average. For me there hasnt been a great deal to critises but there hasnt been a lot to rave about either!! And there in lies the issue, as ive said previously, there are people sitting on the bench who have done the job for us in the past and have performed outstandingly for us in the past, hell there are people at other clubs who could have doen just a good a job if not better! The end of the day his performances at the moment do not warrent a starting position and cirtainly not a place on any "untouchables list" which by the way i thought was really bad idea to be going on about, that will really do wanders for those who are fighting for a place!!

Essien gets my vote, the guy has been immence since day one, taking most games by the scruff of the kneck, stand out performer in both the barca games...

For those that say Essien had a poor to average first season its worth pointing out it all went down hill after he was made public enemy number one by the papers and was refferd to by 90 percent of the nation as nothing more than a nasty thug!! he's only 23 now, was 22 in a new country, thats not going to be the easiest thing in the world. He must have been thinking twice about ever challange he went in to. This has no bearing on Ballack except i satnd by the point that IMO out if we are playing 4 midfielders i dont believe he is in out top four options

I was in the anti-Drogba camp up until the last few weeks of last season. I thought he was crap, and I hated his whinging, and theatrical rolling around after being tackled - even his most ardent fans can't deny that he was a real drama queen Towards the end of last season, he turned it around, and he hasn't looked back since. I rate him very highly now - his confidence is sky-high, and his work-rate is second to none. He's finally looking like a world class forward, something I've got to admit I never thought I'd see. I'm really pleased that I've been proved wrong, let's hope he can keep up his excellent form. Be interesting to see if all the people slagging off Shevchenko and Ballack will give them credit when they start doing the business on a regular basis Has any one actually slaged of sheva and ballak as much as mention that they havent been fireing on all cylenders? Sheva's place should not even be in question as i credit him largely with drogbas form and its no suprise that he's feeling his way in, like wise i dont think ballak has done badly by any means i just think there is maybe a player or two on the bench that could offer more.

I think thats crazy talk.... the fact is if both players where to sit in there respective reserves till seasons end things would have been a lot better for us!! As it stands we have given arsenal the best deffender in the world and they now have a center back paring that has the pace of a hundred meter final line up not to mention the raw tallent!! In return we got a left back who at best is margenly better than bridge. MARGENLY better.. and they way bridge has played this season i would struggle to say that. so to sum it up aresnal have got stronger we have got weaker. To put it another way. We bent over and let them stick a splinterd broom up are back sides!!
