Ive lifted this from somthing i wrote in another thread Ive bolded the bits that i think are relative because above, the fact remains that the amount of games we have played this season has been immence and to be in all competitions at such a late stage was also extreamly impressive. Add to this the injurys to key players we have sufferd. THE FACT THAT WHEN BALLACK AND SHEVA HAVE BEEN PLAYING WE MAY AS WELL HAVE STARTED AND FINISHED THE GAME WITH 9 MEN!! and jose's a f***king g-d in management terms!! a) We havent had the players to play the silky football one hundred percent of the time G4 ballack and sheva have had to play because we have had very little in the way of alternatives but there delay in addapting to the league has not leant its slef to the football we would ALLL like to see... the same kind of football that we played against united at the end of last season with out either of them in the team and guess what a fully fit and on fire Joe cole... yes one man can make a difference its an option, some one who will make things happen and inspires confidence with his own play... only thing ballack inspired this season was extra lung capacitys because our players where like yo-yo's, every time he had the ball they had to race back because 9 times out of 10 he would give it away, like wise sheva to be honest!! As i have said there is no other manager in this league that would have been able to keep us fighting on all fronts for so long, thats his job at the end of the day and he did that with what was availible!! c) I have every confidence that if we can keep all key players fit next season, keep essien in midfield, cole and robben playing more offten than not, ballack on loan to liverpool.. we will be playing far more entertaining stuff, not arse stuff but driving football combined with a much better attacking style.. Also worth noting that are best central midfilder has been playing center back for most of the season

Ben had a bit of promise from his brief first team action, but I thought Scott Sinclair looked VERY one dimensional. Which dimention is that? one of these? Did you not think the san siro was far from the pith in terms of seating... the stand i was in had what i can probably only describe as a moat in frount of me and was deffinatly thinking that it didnt seem any where near as close to the pitch as english grounds

Well i know nothing about him, have barley seen him all season, have heard good things but have seen nothing with my own eyes so have kept stum on this one and will continue to do so... Listening to talk sport on the way home Jose was once again branded the enemy of football and accused of single handedly ruining the FA cup final, exact words went some thing like this "he's killing great english talent, more than that he's killing great players and i cant wait till he leaves the english premier league" Well it seems the blame for a poor cup final showing has fallen squarely on our shoulders, ignoring the fact that there where two teams in that final, ignoring the fact that two years ago united played out a goalless draw with Gooners and ignoring that there game with liverpool many years ago was dire!! I don't remember any one being slated for running a cup final then all i can actually remember is the media creaming them selves over cantona's goal! (good goal though has to be said) So what are we guilty off? was it stopping ronaldo from running with the ball, not insisting that gigs had scored? copying uniteds formation... The way i saw it both teams looked nervy knowing one goal might win it misplaced passes as a result of nerves and good defending!! One things for sure, football has short a memories. even on the CSR where some of our own feel that Jose has killed football, maybe a little, last season we scored far and away more goals that any one else, how do you go about doing that when your winning 1-0 every week, some one got there math's very wrong!! second top goal scores this season, but again we'r scraping games... This season we are going to be one game short of the maximum any team that qualifies straight for the champions league can play! i some times think people underestimate how many games that is and if im right in thinking we started the season with a smaller squad than usual (maybe by one player) in the cores of this season we lost both chec and carlo for long periods of time! ! ! robben aka mr glass has not been fit all season, even in the small periods where he hasn't been carrying a knock he's been playing with a recent injury in the back of his mind. Cole gone for the whole season, the camio at the end was to little to late and he was no where near fit! We had little to no option but to play the formation and players we have, i havent enjoyed ballak this season thats for sure but put your self in Jose's position your in a corner, no options, play SWP who hasn't really been doing it or go with the german captain and a proven quality player who's also playing p*nts... kalou's not a winger any way and sheva has been little of anything this season if we'r honest!! Jose has done what he had to do to keep us in with a shout the whole way through, in the end some prizes were just out of reach, but i guarantee you this, regardless of the cash and the players we have there our maybe 3 other managers in the world that could have kept us in with a shout of every thing as long as he did and Old red nose and wenger our not two of them!! Im not naive enough to think we play the same football arsenal of 4 seasons ago did or barca of a year ago, but we are not the monster people would have you all believe we have a plan B and even a plan C some times when things aren't rolling the right way and its not always pretty but we'd all soon be moaning if there was no back up plan. For the first time in ages im looking forwards to next season because hopefully with a fully fit squad we can shut a few people up!! The day Jose leaves will probably rock me more than when Gullit was booted and that hurt! Sorry to any one that got to the bottom of this for the esay... radio got me blood boiling...

GET IN!!! have only just had an hours sleep, my first since the final. woke up to post a little than go back to sleep again!! not a lot to say other than great performance in a tight game, wasnt vintage but was never going to be and the lads dealt with it brilliantly!! Essien man of the match for me absaloutly colosus!! only other point is MOOSE, your making me a little mad!! Fact giggs made contact with the ball and directed to wards the goal chec saved it and heald on to the ball about a yard in frount of the line!! giggs then followed through and took chec over the line.... at what point can you even contemplate that as a goal? dont know how they play the game where you are or what sport your thinking of but even in egg chasings thats a 5 meter scrum and no score!! Basicaly it would be an interesting sport if you could score by carrieng the keeper over the line!!

I was going to explain why the current format of the CL has devalued other cup competitions not to mention erradicating one and how if it wasnt for the current format other leagues may not loose all there best players so quickly.. it was only 18 years ago that red star belgrade won the european cup and that isnt actually that long ago, infact it was only just before the money men really began to run things in football.... Neither team should have been in it to start with, shpeshialy milan!! Why they continue to call it the champions league is beyond me. I really think the almost champions league or the about 30 points of champions league would be a more apt name... The purpose of the champions league/European cup what ever you want to call it is to pit the champions of every contry against each other not the also rans... and not to mention the knock on effect it has had on other cup competitons

thats utter tripe, the european cup has nothing to do with domestic form and hasnt for years and years since the champions league came into force. Just as in 2005, if we win it we will have beaten the best to do so, you lot, barca, milan (if) it doesnt get much tougher than that. i think you should all just let your bitterness go and wear red and rejoice. fact is rob its not tripe, its pretty spot on. And that the whole 'settled on ?150m' story was just leaked so RA could 'save face' and not be the laughing stock of the Billionaire's Club. She's the mother of his children and been with him for around a decade. Ive actually been very impressed with kaka for the last two seasons now, my biggest problem with him is that i feard he would be bullied out of games like haman did in the second half against milan, thats not just a physical thing but a mental one as well, however last two seasons he has devloped physicaly seemes stronger and much quicker (some how) than he was to go with his undoubted skill, just messi is more my type of player if you like

As ive said before i think are starting line up is about as good as you can get so not a massive fan off buying the ready made supperstar!! veron, sheva,ballack, ashley cole another point ive made in the past is that players who play well for one team dont really instantly fit another, ashly is a great example, our football is very different to arsenals, thus why he cant cross to save his life, looks average in our set up.. and thats an established prem player let alone ballalk.... and what about the 70 million quoted for adriano, who has forgoten what a goal looks like for a season and a half.. then you have the other side of the coin, ronnaldo while expensive was harldy world superstar but is now... joe cole had a lot to proove when he came in, gallas virtualy un heard of, lamps not even in the england squad... i could go on like this but you get the jist i do get the feeling that some on here our all to eager to throw cash at the problem when it seems to cause more problems than the solutions. We do need a couple of players, a back up center back and MAYBE a forward. But ill play the game any way cos its fun... going to go with messi and tevez (although i woudnt put tevez in the world star catogory) but i would love to see messi in a chelsea shirt!!

Paulo...JT.....Ricky....Bridge .............Maka/Diarra...... .....MIkel.............Lmaps Cole.......................Robben .............Drogba That first 11 probably would be very hard to better but we seem very week out side of it speshaily in deffence So for me the first solotion is ben hiam, out of contract, good defender who knows how to mix it up and has prem expirence!! and not a nailed on starter!! moving up the pitch i suppose the concern is that robben isnt all that reliable in terms of fittness but we should be able to deal with that with SWP who has looked a lot better for a good amount of games now and Kaulo who is only going to get better! that said we'r week upfrount as well now. Id like to think that sheva will be fireing on all cylanders next season but really i just dont, id also like to think that one of sinclare and saha will shock the world next season and while im actually more hopefull of that then sheva finsing the ability and form that made him the very best going its a massive gamble so the way to solve both problems is quite simpely tevez Split oppinions on the CSR last season and when he faild to score for so long in the prem it looked like my self and many others had a bit of egg on our faces, yet we continued to appreicate the situation and the ability the guy possesed and in the last 3 months its there for every one to see, has it all and a player than can make things happen from no where. I thought compasions with zola recently where a little bit OTT, i dont think he has the same kind of "slikness" about him as zola did but that said not many do!! what he does come with is that kind of ora about him that makes every one feel like a kid at x-mass, the thing i fealt when i saw mutu slam the a freekick in the wall with his right foot and then rocket in the re-bound with his left... the way ya fleat when ya saw zola take the p!ss out of julian dicks.. players that come with all the accessorys that make them the exciting models to have. for all of drogbas assets he'll never be that.
