  1. Point well made Scott. Let's hope he learns as he does have a lot of qualities.
  2. Excellent half. Centre backs look assured, Santos elegant, Cucu being Cucu, Enzo invokved and Cole is back. In fairness to Maresca we look well-drilled defensively. I'm glad I deceided to watch this game.
  3. Excellebt start from a cobbled together lineup.
  4. How is this a neagtive for a no. 9?
  5. He looks stronger, has better movement, has an understanding of the offside rule, and can stay on his feet. He showed brilliantly on two occasions but our players are not used to a no. 9 and didn't slot him in. There was nothing hopeful about the assist- he knew exactly what he was doing. I'm excited.
  6. I've seen a lot of Kelleher playing for Ireland and he has never quite convinced. Petrovic would be better and Maignan better still.
  7. I enjoyed that and was really buzzing at the end. Granted I celebrated the Zenith Systems Data Cup win like it was a World Cup. Special thanks to Jackson for the laughs. He really is the gift that keeps on giving. Faking the injury and then 10 minutes later forgetting that he had done that. Clearly in the minority I would actually give credit to Maresca for starting a few of the players who had got us there in the first place. I would also credit him, or his staff, or the club in general for being cautious with Reece's minutes since his return. He has defied the odds by remaining fit. It saddens me to see how far Noni has fallen, I like him a lot but he was truly shocking tonight. With James, Palmer, Caicedo, Cucurella and increasingly Colwill we are developing into a team that looks promising. The dressing room appears united and we can only hope that Maresca has learned from his first season and becomes worthy of our full support. KTBFFH
  8. Basically chased the man out of our club singlehandedly.
  9. Jackson checking out The Shedend Forum. I wouldn't if I were you, son.
  10. Thus spoke Ploks. I agree with @Zeta except for the weird stuff about Cole. I think we will win despite our obvious deficiencies. Hopefully we will have a final day shot at Chsmpions league. If you had offered me that at the start of the season .. ..
  11. Good line in fairness to the team we support
  12. Excellent to see you posting @Chippy . Please stick around - you will make this place a little less nasty.
  13. Reggie reminds me a little of Billy Gilmour.
  14. I had a fantastic day yesterday with my brother and Godson @Will M . I thoroughly enjoyed the match, in particular because they had most of ball meaning that our lads could play the way they clearly want, ie, quick transitions and running at the opposition. It was a joy to watch Caicedo and Lavia on the same pitch. Our future looks bright if we can keep them on the pitch together. I also enjoyed watching Noni and Cole. Finally excellent to see Trev anticipating the game very well. Biggest disappointment was, of course, watching Jackson confirm, yet again, that he is far off being good enough for Chels, and looks increasingly unlikely to ever get there. Unfortunately he lacks understanding and intelligence, neither of which he looks likely to gain. For the crime of not being good enough, I hope he dies a slow and painfull death - tomorrow.
  15. I'll be at this one. Looking forward to it. KTBFFH
