Thank god for that last 10 minutes at Fulham ! 😎

Fulham probably feel like we do about being Ipswichs only home win.

Besides is a brief walk down the road really a proper "away" game?

The Unitedwin gives us false hope.

Our away form stinks, so our only hope is we draw this one, Forest fail to beat West Ham and Villa draw or lose at united.

There is only one lineup we have for this game, imo:

Sanchez

James

Chalobah

Colwill

Cucurella

Caicedo

Lavia

Palmer

Enzo

Neto

Madueke

Would pick the same 11, but swap positions of Neto and Madueke.

Forest have Murillio back vs west ham today. Big boost having their first choice defence back together, was not expected after he went down injured vs palace.

Hopefully West Ham can beat them tomorrow which means their game vs us is a dead rubber for them.

It's better they won against West Ham because this is now a must win game for them and are under way more pressure. We, on the other hand, start the match needing only a draw as long as United also keep Villa at bay at Old Trafford. And if things stay tight even around mid second half, Forest will have no choice but to open up and we have plenty of options to hit them on the counter.

Arsenal lead Newcastle one nil as we speak so there is also the scenario in which Everton win at St. James' and a draw is enough for us, even with a Villa win at Old Trafford, but that is a big if.

It's a must win game for us too. We start the match needing a win.

Maresca. Favors possession based tactics. Inverts fullbacks to overload attacking phase in midfield and in opposing box. High line risk with little reward. Likes goalie to play out from back even though conceded goals & cost points.

Nuno. Favors low possession with devastating counter attacks taking advantage of high lines.

Away form - ours is poor since Xmas. Their on a poor run but just beat the irons.

Their ground - 12th man for sure

Players. They have a 20 goal classic number 9 our striker got himself banned for 3 critical end of season matches. We are playing a novice winger as a false 9 rather than Neto. Their goalie has most clean sheets in division we have Robert Sanchez.

In football anything can happen but it seems long odds for our inexperienced possession based youths to win, our rivals could choke and a draw might be enough, United could beat or draw Villa, Barcodes could lose or draw to Everton. But first up need 🍒 to get something at City.

No chance Maresca drops Fernandez for this one. He'll probably be captain with James on the bench LOL.

Saw some bo**ocks about Fernandez having "conjunctivitis" and "playing the last two games with one eye" as some miserable excuse for his sh*te performance. All rather desperate from our PR department, who are really starting to grate on yours truly ...

If he genuinely can't see properly then effing bench him !

I'm just being hopeful, Enzo undoubtedly starts. If he starts Caicedo RB instead of James i'll lose my mind.
