Every team faded around us last year for us to make top 4. And it was the lowest point total for a 4th place team in how long? We were so fortunate to be top 4 last year. I think defensively when Silva is back we can be fine. But offensively it's been struggle.

And right now they are choosing werner....it seems no matter how mediocre/poor Werner is he keeps his spot. If Pulisic came into this season 100% fit and played this poor I would be worried. But he had a bad injury and I contend no matter what they say he has not been fully fit all season.

I just don't think we are a good football team. Are we playing better then under Frank? Maybe a little. More sound on defense for sure. We have not beaten a good team under TT. That's a fact. a win against the most off form Tottenham team in years is not a good win. I dont care that it's away. I hear the announcers say. "Chelsea needs to get better in the final third" yea I agree lol. Our first touch isn't good and we pass to no one 90% of the time. Its crazy. Remember Man U put up 9! Against Southhampton. 9! Only way we make top 4 is if everyone fades away at the end like last year.

TT knows in the big games he NEEDS kante to be at his best. So he needs to play.

Kovas passing has been excellent today.

His short burst of speed that was electric last season has not been there. Wouldn't surprise me if we don't see the best of him again until next year.

I just want us to be clinical in front of goal for the first time all year. That would be enough for me in this game.

First half we were subpar, especially finishing...2nd half I thought we were electric. Pulisic gave us a spark and it's the best he has looked in awhile.

And if any team needed a big shakeup It's this one.

This is harsh. Everyone can agree hes not in good form right now ....but you look at this team and say he's the guy "ruining" us? When he had his head down which key pass did he miss?? I would say he was our best attacker which I know isn't saying much. If Mason Mount put that free kick that Pulisic got them in the top corner and CHO roofed his opportunity on goal which Pulisic setup would you say he had a better game?

Fulham had the better chances. What in the last 6 weeks have u seen that makes you think we are good enough to be top 4 THIS year. Teams around us are better. Tottenham, LC, everton, Man U, aston villa, etc etc.conpared to last year....dude its January 19th and we haven't beaten a good team yet. Lol I agree with you on coaching...Lampard seems out of his element.

Tight battle for top 4? We are no where near good enough. We were outclassed today...hell we were outplayed by fulham in the first half over the weekend before they went down to ten men.

I think its been a perfect storm of Covid, no preseason, injuries, players off form, and new players adapting. I think we overachieved last year and we are underachieving this season. This is football and things can change rapidly but like you said we are miles away from a top 4 team right now. Just look how we play every game. Middle of January and we don't have a win against a top 6 side. Crazy. Lol. I think the biggest problem on this team is we don't have a strong enough midfield. And when players are off form there is no one to come in and play better. Kante is not a natural DM and hes fine there against 85% of the teams but against the good teams he can get exposed. We have Havertz playing as an 8 which is not what he is. He is an offensive midfielder and should be living in the box, but that's not where he's been for most of the season....and Mount is a good Developing player. Do I think he should be playing every single second of every single game for us ? No I do not...but whos pushing him on this team from the bench ? Kovacic has been disappointing this year to say the least.

I think today was the worst .....the last miss on the breakaway was very bad. But the gorgeous pass CHO fed him in the middle and Timos first touch sent the ball 6 feet in front of him. Sunday morning rec league first touch. We have been seeing that first touch for months now.

Pulisic is so conpetitive, and the bench might put him "FU Mode" like last year ...and Lampard said all last year he needs his players "on edge" "with so much competition in the squad. Not hearing him say it this year.

I'm a little worried what these hamstrings injuries has done to his explosiveness. Last year he was gliding past players and leaving defenders well behind him. I haven't seen any of that this year. I so hope I'm wrong and hes just not confident right now.

I get your point. I just haven't been impressed with Timo in tight spaces. Look at the goal Gundogan scored against us in the Man City game. World class turn away from Tiago Silva and slots it in the corner. I thought that would be how Timo would be scoring some of his goals. We just haven't seen much of it.

I agree with this. Great that he scored but even against a team we should be dominating he was invisible.

He should start against Fulham. We have 3 very good wingers. Play the 2 most in form. I
