January 27, 20215 yr Author start with Mendy James Silva Zouma Chilwell Kante Pulisic Mount Hudson-Odi Werner Abraham finish with Mendy James Silva Zouma Chilwell Mount Ziyech Havertz Hudson-Odi Werner Giroud
January 28, 20215 yr Mendy Azpilicueta T.Silva Rudiger James Jorginho Kovacic CHO Havertz Mount Abraham OR Mendy James T.Silva Rudiger Chilwell Kante Ziyech Havertz Mount Pulisic Abraham First win for Tuchel incoming?
January 28, 20215 yr If we remain with the same system then you have to ask who did what was asked of him enough to keep his place for this game, if you are being fair. Mendy N/A Azpi Yes Silva Yes Rudiger Yes CHO Yes Jorginho Yes Kovacic Yes Chilwell NO Zyiech NO Havertz NO Giroud NO So 4 dropped for me based on their displays. James in for Chilwell, CHO to LWB Mount in for Zyiech Werner in for Havertz Abraham in for Giroud
January 28, 20215 yr F me 4am KO again, I don’t have a DVR as I stream all content now, going to have a serious decision to make enjoy my Sunday morning lie in, or arise in the middle of the night and chance more of the same possession based boredom. There’s 3 days of preparation so let’s see what Tickle can do with more than a few hours in the freezing cold dark at Cobham. Burnley are on a roll and Dyschee will be licking his northern chops at getting to grips with a Chelsea team going through yet one more transition into the latest managers tactics, formations etc.
January 28, 20215 yr I wonder if we will see much change in the way we play against Burnley, compared to last night v Wolves. Not a criticism, just genuinely wondering.

January 28, 20215 yr Need to stop this passing other teams to death bullsh*t and start being a bit more direct...unless the plan is to send them to sleep ZZZzzzzzzz PS. Please drop Dave, sadly he's getting worse every time I see him. Time for old guard to move over to the bench full time..now.
January 28, 20215 yr Ziyech and CHO had something going on on the right side. If Chilwell and Havertz had that we would have probably scored in the game. Those guys really didn't connect. Well, once actually and Chilly blasted it over. As we know Tuchel is not afraid of playing the opponent we will see many different formations and combinations this season. He usually plays the tactic that fits to hurt the opponent most. It is completely different to Frank's stubborness to just grind with 4-3-3.
January 28, 20215 yr It’s a must win game if top 4 is going to be achieved. I think the negativity towards Tuchel will go into overdrive should we drop points here. I’d like to see the wingbacks continued with for this one so I’d pick something like this. Assuming Kante is out injured and Gilmour is going on loan. Mendy Zouma Silva Rudiger James Kovacic Jorginho CHO Mount Werner Abraham I think a lot of play broke down/slowed down with Chillwell,Ziyech and Giroud last night so they drop out. Azpi didn’t do much wrong but seeing as we are struggling for goals I think we need to maximise our advantages from our own set plays and all 3 CB’s will offer that threat, as well as offering more physicality against a physical Burnley side. Finally, I thought Werner and Abraham linked up well vs Luton so I think it’s worth partnering them again.
January 28, 20215 yr Tuchel just told no one needs to leave. That is not entirely up to him but anyway... He referred that to talking about Billy.
January 28, 20215 yr After watching the interview with Tuchel this morning, I can saw with 100% accuracy, I have no idea who he will start in this game? An hour before the game it will be like unwrapping a Christmas present.
January 28, 20215 yr We will see changes, and most likely Mount back into the first eleven. I don’t think that he will play a back three but, independently of what formation, our midfielders will have to be more creative than what they’ve been all season if we are to beat this Burnley on a winning run. If anything, maybe the fact that they are winning plays in our favour as they’ll come with more confidence and not to park the double decker.

If your pissed up, our play may look like the Brazil 1982 side!

I think Havertz will fight on the same spot as Mount and the englishman will get his chance next game. I don't see Mount playing inline with Kante in Tuchel's system. I think Werner will replace Abraham in the 60-70 minute. Edited January 28, 20215 yr by Dragos

Tuchel said he doesn't see too many flaws in our team which is quite concerning so I don't know if much will change, especially in a few days.
