They needed to make a stand on this with zero tolerance. Anything else and it looks like the player has all the power and controls the narrative.

Quite the opposite will happen in both games.

I'll be honest. This whole discussion about Liverpool possibly dropping points and whether their opponents can be bothered to turn up irritates me. We shouldn't rely on the likes of Burnley or Palace to do our job for us. If we fail to win tomorrow I fully expect scousers to take advantage of our failure and beat us to the place in the top four.
And if we can' t take care of business and beat Leicester and Villa, then we don't deserve to play in the CL next season, anyway.

So much of sport is about momentum. We had it going up against City, through it away v Arsenal and couldn't pick it up yesterday - in fact if anything we got another kicking. We've stalled.
Liverpool have the momentum to get Top 4 after the way tonight finished. They know how to win and are getting their mojo back.
Leicester will fancy playing us on Tuesday. yesterday was no fluke they knew how to frustrate us. 
Sorry to say I think it's looking like a grim end to the season for us.

I know, it was partly a knee jerk statement but I’d rather see some of our women players than Ziyech or Alonso. They really play well.

You know maybe it is better for us if we do lose this and dont make top 4.
Maybe then the club will realise the problem is not all on the manager but is on the awful attitude of many of squad and the lack of pride they have in the shirt and club.
Look at the way Leicester disrespected our club Crest. Imagine what chopper would have done about that, or Wise or even JT.

When I realised David Coote, aka the useless VAR ref had this game it was a worry.  The nonsense that Silva deserves to be sent off for catching someone while trying to block but at the other end the same move is not a foul for a pen. Farcical.
 
I wondered where our players had gone, ones that had let Frank down game after game. New manager bounce and all we looked pretty decent team wise again. Impressive defensively for sure.
Manager of the month curse? Maybe. Straight ball down the middle from the keeper and we concede? Yeah that is how bad we were defending at the end for Lamps.
Jorginho was rage inducing. The worst of a terrible bunch of useless players.
This was not City, or Atletico or even Porto. This was West Brom, managed by Big sam no less, who is laughing at us and mocking us that his team thrashed us at the bridge.
5-2 to west brom? Are you kidding me? They are going down, they are a shockingly poor outfit and we made them look class. This is the sort of appalling attitude we see in this squad when they just cannot be arsed to put the effort in. There is no excuse for such a result or performance. 
Shameful.

If we win here, we await an easier run of matches so have the opportunity to go on a nice run. Let's hope we get the 3 points!
