March 21, 20215 yr Couple of weeks to wait on this so will hope everyone comes back from the internationals ok. Would expect big sam to park the bus and hope to counter us will quick players and hit us on set plays, so not expecting us to be able to use our pace as well against them. A good game for Jorginho and Kovacic imo with Kante used in europe. Our front 3 should be looking at individual ability to create and adding height to us. Am guessing TT will want Silva to have a game before Porto then rest him the following week. With all that said maybe we will see: Mendy Zouma Silva Rudiger CHO Jorginho Kovacic Alonso Ziyech Tammy (or perhaps Giroud) Havertz

March 24, 20215 yr Another lunch hour kick off. Damn I hate it, didnt the last 2 draws we conceded all happens to be 1230 kick off? Don't need a football manager to figure out how both sides will approach the game, get the 2 goals and passing them to death.
March 25, 20215 yr We really need to get the three points here as the following week Palace away in the what will inevitably be a heavily rotated side (due to the first leg Wednesday second leg Tuesday turnover in the Porto tie) has banana skin written all over it. Edited March 25, 20215 yr by Argo

It's a Saturday lunchtime to Wednesday turnover which allows more than enough recovery time (although that said I wouldn't start Kante as this one is a match for the Jorgi/Kova axis). The following week vs Palace is where we will need to rotate accordingly as that's a Saturday match sandwiched inbetween a Wednesday-Tuesday CL schedule.

Have to take in to account the travel and millage any international games have put on our players too.
March 26, 20215 yr 3 international matches over 7 days. Does not matter we have a gap from here till wednesday, I now expect a lot of rotation here and for palace with players not involved or not much involved for their nationals to start here, and for TT to protect Jorginho and Kovacic for porto with Kante injured. Mendy (did not got away) Azpi (not selected for Spain) Silva (south american games no go this time) Zouma (france reserve) CHO (not selected) Gilmour (rest Jorginho) Mount (rest kovacic) Alonso (not selected) Anjorin (rest Ziyech) Abraham (not selected) Pulisic (rest Havertz)
March 26, 20215 yr @axman2526 Bear in mind that Hudson-Odoi is part of the England U21 squad and played 90 minutes against Switzerland yesterday. The U21s are also playing three games in a week as part of the Euro 2021 group stages.

March 27, 20215 yr Vital to get three points in this game with Leicester facing City and Liverpool facing arsenal depends on the squad situation after these international games but Mendy azbi zouma rudiger Cho kovacic gilmour alonso mount havertz werner
March 28, 20215 yr Should be winning this comfortably. Hope we're not too rusty after a 13 day break.

March 29, 20215 yr Worst case Kante and Jorginho both injured havertz has played twice for Germany and mount for England but I don’t think either was much taxed
