Can't see Tomori starting, I think the club have an agreement in place for Tomori hence why he hasnt been risked recently especially in the dead rubber in the CL. I think he is off to Newcastle however Matt Law did state that a big European club was after him and he wouldnt be surprised if an agreement was already in place.

I think Chrsitensen & Rudiger may get game time to keep them up to speed & I certainly agree that Werner and Havertz need to play in order to build confidence.

Livramento is another youth prospect worth a look in a game like this. Might be a good option as cover for right back, especially if Reece ends up needing surgery.

Piss on Christensen and Rudiger playing, let's look at alternatives as the former is bloody hopeless and the latter we know is a solid backup nothing more.

Maybe Mbuyamba can put on a show and ease Zouma or Silva out of the side.

What position does Henry Lawrence play across defense? His name has been mentioned as on the youth that may get a run out.

I'm a believer in the old saying disrespect the cup and the cup disrespects you.

For me I would use our normal the subs as I think we need to build confidence again to get back out league momentum

Mbuyamba been injured all season and not made a youth appearance, Nunn is behind Fiabema and Bell so no chance he’s involved. Livramento makes the bench for sure.

I'd throw the best 11 on, need a good performance and a few goal to remind the lads how to play a game of football. It's been said in other thread, the last time we out played and dominated any team was months ago.

At the moment our confidence is very low, we're in a very poor form and Lampard need every win to get the players back.

It's important to get a win here, players need to feel the goal, especially players like Werner and Havertz.

I'd rest few players, but play the key players to get their confidence back.

Give Giroud/Abraham the second half, use Anjorin in the second half to give Ziyech his time for a proper recovery and use another youth.

This time has to give us a proper win, but also we need to reach our form from the beginning of the season. Our team deserves a lot of critics and Lampard has to answer for all.

 

This should be our best team out there...they desperately need some confidence and Werner needs a goal to get him going (even if it comes off his arse).

I really think Frank should play just someone else. Not just in this game but if we trash Morecambe with great style we continue with that bunch. Even if there is Livramento or Bate. Just to give rest and continue what Frank have said about playing the players that impress him the most and not what it says in the back of the shirt. 

Morecambe actually gonna be able to field a squad for this match?

If they can’t we get a free pass in to the next round I believe. It’ll be a shame though, I love these sort of games!

Agree with this.We gave to get some of these guys firing.They have enough rest until this game and they will have enough rest after it .

Unlike a few of the more recent displays where a few dont appear to give a sh*t

I can see some value in playing Werner in this game, in the hope that he might score a goal or and gain some confidence. Obviously if he has a bad day in a match like this he really will need some extended time out of the team. Question is if he scores and looks better, should he then keep his place for the next league game?

Remember that the young players need to be training in the same bubble as the first team. If not they won’t be selected.
