  1. Its really sad when people say he didnt make the grade when he was the single striker for Chelsea for 2 seasons and helped us win trophies. Yes he wasnt lethal sometimes and made mistakes or missed chances but which striker is perfect? From a not too top team in la liga he came here and had the responsibility of being our main striker. That in itself will add a lot of pressure to anyone. He's young and can only get better from learning from one of the worlds best strikers, HK. Wishing him all the best in Bayern and hopes he stays there and wins lots of trophies. Got too much hate over here!
  2. How do you expect any sane club have it’s players achieve to their maximum when the players have had so much changes and upheaval. 5 managers in 2-3 yrs. No player who’s been with the club when the new owners took over can perform other these conditions. Unfortunately Sterling is one of them. The others have all left.
  3. Raheem is so disrespected by Chelsea. Hoping he goes to a match better club like Conor playing Champions League football.
  4. None of the players you mention cost the club £100m +. A lot of the criticism is whether they warrant that price tag and its being proven to weigh heavily on their shoulders, For that amount of money, fans expect a lot more., ready made midfilders not players who will take two or three years to reach their potential. Rice and Bellingham have improved their teams. why not Enzo and Caciedo!
  5. Cacieado may turn out to be great. who knows and its a big IF! The record price we paid for him will forever be a burden of his shoulders and will put him under a lot of pressure to justify this amount to the world. I cant believe our scouts couldnt find any players who were just as good or better than what we had last year for much cheaper! Chelsea's fetish for all things Brighton could be its undoing.
  6. Experience counts a lot when your team is not playing well and are losing. Thats when the experienced older players area able to rally the young ones but you need it when you have a seriously good coach, your team are playing well and winning
  7. Man city want £50m
  8. a team full of kids and newcomers needs at least one or two experienced grownups.
  9. Its more of Chelsea want him to go out but preferably on loan to Crystal Palace but because of CL football he would rather play for Newcastle. And Newcastle want a sale.
  10. To be fair, Caicedo at first said Man U was his favourite club, wanted to go to Arsenal in January, then Chelsea, and Liverpool when they placed the higher bid. He was on his way there to do his medical. Chelsea offered his agent more money and the agent asked him to do a U-turn. Its all about money for him, nothing more. Which is okay but I can bet if Liverpool had offered he and his agent more money he would have gone there. To the player, he just wants to move on to Brighton and earn more money. Nothing more!
  11. So are we also stripping South American clubs of their best players, buying Santos and all?
  12. Would Chelsea want players to join them and leave the following year for other top teams when they have 4-5 yr contracts? Kudus, Caciedo and other players just want to use Brighton as a springboard to the PL and fair play to Brighton for not wanting to tolerate this. They are trying to build a top team to compete for trophies and Europe and cant afford to let their good players leave after a year or two. very unstable for the club.
  13. Calling Kepa deadwood is sad. Im not a big fan of him but he and other players like Kai cant be bad or 'deadwood' keep been signed up by top European teams like Bayern.
  14. Its obvious they dont really want to sell him.
  15. Hazard was a star and a brilliant player but we did when the Champions League and two other trophies or more with these so called 'players' after he left. It was a good deal.
  16. Im not saying he will not come here and do well. The reality is that young players get overwhelmed with huge price tags and that can affect them. Lets face it if we end paying £100m for him, will it be worth it? We just have to wait and see in a year or two.
  17. He isnt worth £100m. This is how players come to Chelsea and flop. Kante had won the CL with Leicester before coming to Chelsea. Caicedo has just had one season in the PL. At least Enzo had won the WC. Lets see how he copes in a top club with that high price tag.
  18. Tight hamstring. dont want to risk him before next Sat. Dont read too much into this.
  19. Cech a world class GK took Mendy under his wings and made him a CL winner.
  20. We dont want to sell Colvlll. they dont want to sell Caciedo.
  21. This is Chelseas own doing! We overpaid for Enzo, and since then all the prices for good midfielders have been based on the price we paid for him
  22. No he cant if hes still under contract. If he's unable to move now because no club an pay his valuation, he will be angry or sore for a week and two and just knuckle down and play his best football. Theres always another window or next year to move.
  23. Well he can be forced to go to Saudi if he doesnt want to. A contract is a contract and its up to Chelsea to see how best to utilise him whilst hes on contract. The best solution will be a low fee loan with his wages paid by whichever club takes him on or he stays in Chelsea.
