January 2, 20224 yr One of three things happens with the fat Emile Heskey. 1. A temporary reconciliation happens and he plays out the season then moves on. 2. Its all put behind us and he stays with us and leads is to world cup glory and possibly to curing the common cold. 3. His Chelsea career is over now and we either sell him this window (unlikely)or sideline him and bring on another striker before the end of this month. If it is the third possibility then we need to think and move quickly. I can't see a long term solution coming this window meaning we might need to look for a end of career short term fillup to provide a little injection to the team (think Henrik Larrson short term impact at Utd). Looking around at options for that they are few and far between. A controversial possibility would be Suarez. 18 month contract and a recipe to create headlines.
January 2, 20224 yr How about option 4? His Chelsea career is indeed over, he sulks for Inter who either spend the window in a fit of laughter or try but cannot afford him, he stinks the joint up but we don't bring anyone in, striker or otherwise, because we apparently need to sell before we buy now due to our recent losses and cannot get anyone out the door?
January 3, 20224 yr Option 5: After causing more trouble he eventually rips off his Lukaku mask to reveal it was actually Diego Costa all along going for round two. The real Lukaku is released from his spiderhole in the woods.
January 3, 20224 yr I guess we find out over the coming days but I think number 3 would be a good option with Vlahovic coming in as his replacement.

It's certainly an interesting proposal, a bit out of left field I suppose given his history when playing against us, but Suarez is still scoring at a reasonable rate in La Liga, and he'd work hard for sure. The 34 year old Hulk has just had a great season in Brazil (his team won the title and he scored 19 goals - might be fun for us to see if he is as crap in the PL as we all thought he would be?), and Cavani is still decent, and may want out of Man United now that Ronaldo is there. There are also a couple of washed up blokes at Real Madrid called Bale and Hazard as well ... OK Didier it is then .... :-) Or maybe we can recall Broja ? Edited January 3, 20224 yr by Sexyfootball
May 24, 20233 yr IF you are going to be signed for 100m you f**king better take it very very seriously. Block the move if you don't want to fail both the seller and the buyer. Be an adult. f**kin soft man-child this guy is....
May 24, 20233 yr He didn't want to leave Inter in the first place. Inter desperately needed the money, pushed him out the door. A c*ck-up all round.

Some Chelsea fans actually defend this guy and blame(d) footballers who delivered us a European cup for his shortcomings, let that sink in. Make him train alone until Inter or someone else meet our valuation, nothing more than he deserves.

None of that matters, he at least should have put in 100% effort to make it work. The fact he now thinks its an acceptable excuse that "he wasnt really bothered" shows just what kind of bellend he really is.
May 24, 20233 yr And there is the problem with Lukaku in a nutshell. He truly believes he is brilliant. If he was even a quarter as good a player as HE thinks he is. He would be superstar. Unfortunately, he isn't anywhere near it. Drogba's shadow was better than Lukaku has EVER been. Edited May 24, 20233 yr by just
May 24, 20233 yr He is with us until June 2026 on paper when he will be 33. Very bad business by us, he obviously wants to stay in Italy suggest reducing the loan if necessary to give Pochettino the chance to build his side, revisit next year if we are not going well in attack.

If he was anything like Drogba he wouldn't have left us the first time as he'd have seen Diego Costa arriving as a challenge not an excuse to run away to Everton. So ironic Drogba is his idol, they couldn't be more different as players or professionals.

Possible in the summer of 2024, his book value will be less than 40mill then, or maybe summer of 2025 when his value is less than 20mill. This summer at just under 60mill, cannot see it happening.

Can't have him f**king Pochettino over before he's started and definitely can't have him around impressionable young guys. This is more than the money now, got to send a clear message we can't be messed with, by players and clubs.

May 26, 20233 yr Hey @Argoif us selling Mount, Colwill, Gallagher, Maatsen, Chalobah, RLC and CHO meant we could offload Lukaku permanently for a cheap fee and be rid of him without any FFP penalties would you take that trade?

I know you’re asking Argo but my answer is hell no. Any FFP penalties is worth paying if it meant we kept Mount and Colwill. Chalobah too.
