Their first priority was to get top midfielders. When they couldn't get de Jong, they quickly bought Casemiro. Ours has been to get more wingers and attackers when our midfield is soo poor.

So how come, ETH has turned Man Utd so quickly utilising more or less the same players he had before and adding a few more? Getting Rashford to play so much better now. How come Conte was able to come in mid season and get Spurs to a top 4. Look at Emery and the progress hes made with Aston Villa. Not mentioning Eddie Howe who was taken Newcastle upwards. Yes all teams have injuries but our team was a CL winning team. They couldn't have turned so bad overnight. Fans have a go at the new players signed in but they have had to play under 2 different managers, Club structural changes, about 4 different formations, some playing in a new league, all this in a short space of time. It will take time for them to settle and show their best.

There is a reason why Abramovich gave Tuchel an initial contract of 18mths. Prove yourself. Even Conte a proven coach was given a 2 year contract. Giving Potter a coach whose never won anything and with a 35% or so rate of game wins was madness by Boehly!
