Christian Pulisic - Official
Nope. I think it's quite clear from his entire 7 year career he has no business being part of a premier league squad. Not talented enough to start games. Not reliable enough or fit enough to be someone you can depend on from the bench. I'd be very surprised not to see him back home in the MLS within 5 years.

Jules Kounde
Don't worry. Azpi will get his 100 pages when he declares he wants to play for Barca.

Jules Kounde
Nope. They set a deadline a month in advance and told us if we don't meet it we'd have to pay the release clause. Marina missed the deadline because she wanted Zouma sold first and wanted an extra million for Zouma from what West Ham offered.

Jules Kounde
If we don't get Kounde there's no other top quality centre backs avaliable that we can realistically sign. Drop the back 3 and move to a back 4. Focus on 2 new forwards. Offer Arsenal 40m + Pulisic for Jesus during tonights game.

Jules Kounde
While that's largely true Jesus pisses on all our attacking options aside from Sterling from a great height

Lmao. We're not focusing on a pre season friendly above fixing a key problem in our squad ahead of the season. The friendlies are a sideshow and to help get the group back up to speed but the transfer business is the priority. Todd and everyone aside from the players focus will be on whatever deals we're working on.

César 'Dave' Azpilicueta
It would be nasty but we'd have to publically tell our captain to f**k off and honor the terms of a contract he agreed to sign. He's not going to Barca for a cut price.
-
Jules Kounde
Only because they're not good enough to be considered by Barca If Barca wanted Colwill or Ampadu they'd be gone. The top players have a lot of suitors but we're not top of their lists. Only wanting players who have no other options isn't a winning strategy.

Jules Kounde
The reality is there isn't one player on the planet that would choose to play for us over Barca that didn't come through Cobham. If Real/Barca want a player and have the funds he signs for them.

The irony.

Christian Pulisic - Official
He's always had incentive to perform at the highest level. Probably more than most given the expectation and hopes for him back home. What he doesn't have is the talent to match those expectations. Everyone wants Pulisic to do well but the honest truth is he was signed solely due to his nationality and the only reason he's still here going into his 4th season at the club and his 8th as a senior pro despite never having a good season in his career is the commerical hype surrounding him that again exists solely due to his nationality. We'd all love Puli to perform but is he really worth a slot in a 25 man premier league squad based on his what he's shown on the pitch so far?

If i didn't think Azpi was completely finished I'd block him moving to Barca out of principle. But signing Kounde and giving them another castoff alongside Christensen is too hilarious not to pass up. If Barca sell the entire future of the club down the river and activate billions of pounds worth of levers just to end up with an Alonso - Christensen - Azpi backline the banter will never end.

Oh how I wish we could.

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
We also wanted to sign Dembele, Raphina, possibly Gnabry but couldn't get them over the line. Obviously Tuchel knows how untalented our attacking players are and how important it is we sign at least one more winger before the season starts. We haven't even replaced the 2 defenders we lost on frees so it's not like we're just stockpiling defenders.
-
Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
I don't understand how anyone can criticise Tuchel or doubt how he sets us up offensively. He's a manager known for the high quality attacking football his teams play, talents like Neymar and Dembele had the best seasons of their career under him. Give Tuchel a chance with some actually talented attacking players instead of lumbering him with untalented bums like Pulisic and he'll have us playing great stuff. No manager can get high quality quick attacking play out of Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech. the talent just isn't there to work with.
-
Jules Kounde
Anyone from the academy could replace the absolutely dreadful version of Azpi we saw last season. If we sign Kounde I'd rather we focused on a new winger as the next priority as Sterling is the only winger at the club who can dribble at pace.
-
Jules Kounde
Imagiine being one of the most talented and in demand youmg centre backs of your generation who has been arguably the best defender in Spain for 2 years and deciding to join a club that considered you a back up to a bum like Ake. If I was Kounde I wouldn't sign for us either.
-
Jules Kounde
If it wasn't for Marina being abysmal at negotiating Kounde would have played for us last season.
-
Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal gonna Arsenal. We'd still have been a better with Aubameyang and Jesus than the dross we have up front.
-
Gabriel Jesus
Tbf Jesus has performed better than all of our attackers bar Sterling every season in the Premier league. Talent wise he's a level above many of our attacking options.
-
Jules Kounde
That would be incredibly ironic given the whole reason we missed out on him last year is that we missed Sevilla's deadline to buy him because we wanted an extra 2 million for Zouma
-
Jules Kounde
Christensen return on the cards?
-
Random Rumours
He literally gets paid over 150K a week to play at a level he's never had the talent to play at. Why wouldn't his attitude be top notch? He's basically won the lottery. People are always so quick to praise players for good attitude when they do the bear minimum. Kepa knows he's not good enough to play at this level, knows he's not good enough to compete with Mendy and knows no club on the planet would take him on a free with his wages. No one would cause a fuss in his position.

Armando Broja
30m for Kurt was a great fee. 30m for Broja would be even better. These aren't small fees for players that as of yet haven't shown themselves to be absolutely elite talents.
-
Armando Broja
Having watched Broja this season I genuinely don't know why people are upset about losing or would even want to keep him if we're being offered 30m+ That's a hefty fee for a 6 goal a season striker that Southampton fans don't exactly rate. I'd Broja was their player how many people here do you think would want us to put a £30m bid in based on how he performed last season? Exactly.
