There's an absolute chasm in ability between them. 20/21 Pulisics 4 league goals in the entire season were not some bench mark. There's no conceivable way Sterling could not be a massive upgrade on Pulisic.

Mount absolutely deserves to be dropped. Into midfield. Mount as a Winger Just doesn't do it for me, he doesn't suit the position at all and we suffer from none of our wingers being able to dribble at pace. he only plays there because he's immensely more talented than the dross wingers we have. But if we sign at least 2 new wingers and don't sign a million centre backs this summer and move to a 4-3-3 I'd like to see Mount in the most advanced midfield role rather than on the wing.

But when we're linked with a new winger, our dreadful selection of current wingers is incredibly important and given Pulisic is the worst at the club it's critical. You can't reject Neymar based on his defensive workrate when he adds more defensive workrate that what we have. So whether it's Neymar, Sterling, Raphina, Dembele or whatever other wide player we're linked with anyone who's not keen on them should remember we're stuck with Pulisic. Everyone we've been linked with would be a much needed upgrade.

Massively unfair to Neymar to group him in with Ronaldo and Lukaku. Neymar actually works harder defensively than most assume, even at PSG now he does a lot more off the ball work than Mbappe and Messi. He works harder defensively than some of our current Wingers! harder than Pulisic for example. Tommy T knows. Could be the answer to our centre back problems.

Lukaku won Inters POTS. Was still never going to be good enough for the highest level in a million years. The talent isn't there. De Ligt is much more talented but him winning POTS doesn't necessarily make him a better option than Kounde, Gvavidol, Koulibaly or the plethora of CB's we are linked with. I'd be happy with signing him but if the fee gets ridiculous there are other options I'd prefer.

I think the problem is you're vastly overrating Kepa. Kepa isn't close to being the level of nick Pope. I don't think Kepa starts for a single club in the Premier league. He's not a very good goal keeper, even if he was willing to play for free he just isn't the standard any premier league club particularly an ambitious one like Newcastle would consider. If anything if Kepa was willing to cut his wages massively he's more likely to get signed as a Pope replacement at Burnley, of course he isn't going to cut his wages or want to play at that level given how much he's earned so there's really no market for him. He'll be here until his contract expires in 3 years. That's been clear since day 1.

Only someone who's never watched the French league and has a poor understanding of the game could think that. The French league lacks quality but it's much more physical than the Premier league and the referees allow a lot more physicality than the Premier league.

Lukaku lacks the talent to ever play at the highest level. Neymar obviously doesn't. I can't help thinking most of Lukaku's unhappiness stems from him not being good enough for United, moving to a weaker league and his ego convincing him that he's improved and he's a top class player only to come back here and find he's still not good enough for the top level and not one of the best strikers in England. I don't think he has the mental strength to accept he just isn't very talented. Neymar has talent to spare, the Premier league is less physical than the French league. If (and it's a massive if) he's motivated he'd be fantastic but it's a lot of money for a player who's motivation is in question.
