  1. During his loan spell at Strasbourg in the 2024–25 season, Djordje Petrović demonstrated significant improvement in his passing game, particularly in short distribution. He led all goalkeepers in Europe's top five leagues in several passing metrics, including total passes, passes completed, short passes, and short passes completed. This indicates a strong emphasis on short passing in his play. Petrović averaged 7.3 long balls per 90 minutes, slightly more than Chelsea's Robert Sánchez, who averaged 5.8. However, his average pass length was shorter (27.5 meters compared to Sánchez's 31.8 meters), suggesting a greater focus on building play from the back through shorter passes GUY NEEDS A CHANCE
  2. He can actually score a header which is very much missing from this team atm. But him playing in Germany is making me worried, no doubt
  3. Honestly he looks like an improved version of Jackson. Usually Athletic posting transfer news means it’s getting close
  4. I'd be shocked if we sign Gyokeres or Osimhen though. Think we're more of a Ekitike/Sesko/Delap/another no name kind of club now. For better or worse
  5. Think we'll be able to sell Nkunku (for like 40m euros maybe) and Chillwell for some ridiculously low amount (i.e. CHO). It's Sterling I'm most worried about, we might be stuck with him.
  6. Feels like Dewsbury -Hall could play for Servette and woudln't look out of place. Wouldn't be their best player either
  7. Seems like one of them is going to Chsea and the otger one to Al Ahli. Just a matter of which is which. Alsoo looks like Osimhen on permanent to Chelsea got more likely in recent days/hours
  8. I guess it makes more sense than Osimhen? Financially and in terms of Jackson's progression. Wit those two we'll build a team of proper sh*thousery. Offers someting compeletely different - physicality, great headers, powerful shots etc. But Jhon Duran also can offer that, albeit he's (obviously) much less proven in PL
  9. What an optimistic outlook. Frankly - it's needed even if a bit naive? But I wholeheartedly hope you're right!
  10. You're not alone. It's a toxic addiction 😄
  11. Great post mate! I have similar feelings. Sure, the owners are radical and should have been more patient but it's ambitious. We have really good players. Even Gary Neville, who hates us, has us finishing 4th. Chelsea will be a major force again, next season at the latest. I want to believe that. It's impossible we won't create chances with the players we got. Caicedo/Lavia have potential to be a great pivot as well. Have no idea how to use Enzo. It lately seems to me he's basically a slower Bruno Fernandes, without an eye for goal. Now there are some glaring problems and mistakes (first buying then moving on the likes of Chukwuemeka, pushing out English players who wanted to play for the club) but it seems every transfer window and change proximises us to realizing the granf vision of Eghbali and Clearlake (i'm not sure Boehly has much say? but what do I know). Will it be worth it - is the question. The chaos, the transfers and even sometimes the way we play - it's all (sometimes) exciting to me. But even I wonder - wouldn't we be better off just having the last year's squad, Pochettino and adding experienced goalkeeper (26 upwards), centre back and striker? You know, like 3 transfers, instead of 15 lol But I guess that's the business model
  12. Neto coming changes perspective a bit haha. Maybe it shouldn't. I now predict a ridicolus stroke of luch. We'll finish 5th. English teams do well in European Cups. Next season we're back in the UCL
  13. 7th or 8th. It's really loking bleak right now. West Ham has more experience, a better coach and a better squad, at least for now. Same with Villa and Spurs.
  14. Usually when Ornstein writes about a transfer it is serious
  15. Jesus Christ. This transfer window gets the blood pumping doesn't it
  16. Sometimes I wonder if buying a striker and playing Jackson left wing isn't a better option than playing Sterling or Mudryk there. Or maybe Nkunku?
  17. Feeling like maybe Clearlake are ready to offer star wages to a few star players. Just not unproven ones like Olise
