Another one that is nothing to do with Chelsea FC. Will probably never play for the club. Will no doubt go the same way as Slonina, Bergstrom, Beach, Sharman-Lowe, Curd. Hopefully the lad will get enough to get him a stepping stone move to another club.

If we sign all the goalkeepers in the world between the age of 18 and 22, eventually we’ll find a good one, right? Can’t fault their strategy

Paying €20m for a player valued at €1m is wild. He has only 1 senior appearance.

Ok...I'm starting to lean towards the conspiracy theory we are starting our own youth league with the sole purpose of selling the top clubs young and upcoming players!

 

How many goalkeepers do we have now!?

Sign all the upcoming GKs in Europe for the next 2-3 seasons, sooner or later there will be a shortage of GKs down the track. Maybe that's the time the owners will profit by sky rocketing the price 🥳

I would normally laugh and say this isn't Hollywood or some weird movie but...

They found another loophole...woohoo.

They're going to create another team or club. Maybe sell them some of these players to get past psr rules too.

It's even more ridiculous when we factor in that the club are baulking at Osimhen because of his wages. This is his wages thrown at a lad we'll never see and probably make no money on. We paid £8m for Slonina. Nobody is paying that currently. 

Apart from the fact that he plays for Genk, this is nothing like signing 19 y.o. Courtois back in 2011 for a then-eyewatering €9m.

When Chelsea signed Courtois, he was the 19 year-old first-choice goalkeeper (benching Belgium's current #1 GK, Koen Casteels) who had two years senior experience and kept 14 clean sheets in a title-winning season for Genk. 

Mike Pender played his first senior game for Genk three days ago.

The upside is that we already have Lucas at €700k, or else this lot would be telling us that he is generational and would pay another €20m

How did the bidding for this amazing prospect get so high? Who were we bidding against? Was this one of those extraordinary bidding wars where we were bidding against ourselves again?

Also -Do we get the entire catalogue of all 'Searchers' songs?  Can we trade it all in with Barcelona and buy shares in Camp Spotify?
