Very sad. RIP. I used to watch the Monkees show when I was a little one. It was always entertaining.

The team Germany fielded was half of their backup squad. We were missing Podolski, Lahm, Müller (until the 45th min), Gomez, Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker, and Neuer. Some due to injury, some just didn't get the call or start. Granted Löw likes to go between Klose, Cacau, and Gomez, but Gomez is the striker on form so he'll probably get the tip. We also have others like Götze available for call up. The nice thing is that he fielded a very young team tonight minus Wiese and Klose (and Cacau when he subbed on). I think Löw was looking to round out the rest of the 23-man squad for the Euros. I will say that France looked much better than they have in recent years. They are on the rise.

I think, unfortunately, the Spuds will get in the top 4. Yes, the ability to put pressure on them now is there but their schedule at the end of the season gives them the opportunity to catch us or pull ahead while we have some very difficult fixtures. We better get in form quick or we'll be on the outside looking in. Here's to hoping I'm wrong though... It is football and anything can happen. Look what happened to them at the hands of Arsenal this weekend. Did anyone really expect that especially after spotting the Spuds two goals? I sure didn't.

PloKoon, very good article there. This is definitely something I'm going to watch during his next match with us. I always wondered why we saw him on the wings as much as we did. I get that will happen at times but I wonder if what this author is saying is spot on.
