  1. I get what Pep is going for, especially when he was accustomed to having Neuer. Hart doesn't fit what Pep is looking for but Bravo is in no way an upgrade to Hart. Perplexing decision indeed.
  2. Watched Star Trek: Beyond over the weekend. It wasn't bad. I don't usually advocate for movies being longer but another 5 min of footage would have been nice to fill in some of the holes in the plot.
  3. The passion that Conte has, it just makes me smile every time I see it. Obviously puts it all into his club and country. It's exactly what we need after the fractured management of last season. It's early, but the players are buying in and you can see the drive they have. Long may it continue. Definitely a debate could be had for him bringing in subs too late, but I believe late subs were a part of his plan and it worked. I'll take it, no doubt. Good start to the campaign.
  4. Good first press conference. I'm very excited and optimistic to see how Conte is going to shape this team!
  5. Definitely looked like a Hublot.
  6. Curious to see the formations for Germany vs France tonight. I believe Germany goes back to a 4-2-3-1, but the first question is who is up top? Is it Müller who has been ineffective so far this Euro, or Götze who was pulled for the lineup in favour of Gomez? Then who plays on the right? I would like to see Sane but with only three caps I do not see that happening. I do not have a good feeling about this match with Hummels suspended. Maybe Löw throws a surprise out there and sticks with a 3-5-2. However, the Müller and Götze two-striker front is not comforting. Whoever wins, best whoop up on Portugal. Pepe and Ronaldo with a Euro Championship? No thanks.
  7. There's truth to this Zola, there is. However, imho it is more than that. I saw no sense of urgency, no pushing from the manager, no "Plan B" if you will (arguable if there was a "Plan A"). England has more talent than Iceland. They had no heart, no plan, and no cohesiveness. Iceland did, and were deserved winners.
  8. Completely agree EB, well said.
  9. Anyone playing Battleborn for the PS4? Good fun. I bought Overwatch, have not tried it yet.
  10. What a sad and random event. Just goes to show that every day alive is a privilege. RIP, and best to his friends and family.
  11. Very sad news. My condolences and best wishes to Mod and his family.
  12. That's very well said Chippy. Completely agree with you mate.
  13. Of course we can. Until we are mathematically eliminated, there is always a chance. I know Jose is not perfect, no one is, but he will do what he can to get the players back to their best. City has done well in the market and with the start of the season. There have been only four games played, plenty of time. We have work to do. I am willing to bet that the sense of urgency to turn this around has been communicated to the coaching staff and players. I expect to see some improvements after the break.
  14. Good mate. I'll send you a PM, must catch up.
  15. I assume that's the Gears of War series? If so, absolutely yes. 1. Gears of War series 2. Final Fantasy III for the SNES 3. World of Warcraft (any game having me play for 8'ish years has to be on the list) 4. Final Fantasy VII for the PSOne 5. Phantasy Star I for the Sega Master System and... 6. Phantasy Star II for the Sega Genesis 7. Half-Life 2 8. Portal 1 and 2 (please release a 3) 9. KOTOR

The overall driver support and access time (boot, processes, etc.) have much improved. Gaming support is very good, from what I've experienced so far. Unfortunately, even after turning off all of the data statistics gathering and reporting, Microsoft is still performing a fair bit of data mining. Not that I'm surprised, and I understand they all do it. it is just disappointing. Still, I'm pleased to have it on my rig. I wonder if older devices (e.g., older laptops) will be able to run Windows 10 or if legacy driver support is going to be lacking. Only time will tell.
  17. Haven't visited this thread in a while, so excuse me if this has been mentioned. I would recommend looking at Rocket League. My son and I spend some time on it on the PS4. So much fun.
  18. Great addition to the club. Mou and Agent Cesc at it again. Welcome Pedro!
  19. I personally would not wear any watch with a club logo when dressing formally. Casual wear though, sure why not? I do wonder if the prestige of the watch brand influences what is socially acceptable to wear when dressing formally. As an example, if one were wearing a suit and also wearing a PSG Hublot King Power would it be considered more acceptable due to the prestige of the Hublot brand? Granted a 48mm watch is huge for a suit regardless but you get my point. I have seen many individuals in recent days wear something such as a Richard Mille while dressing more formally. Certainly not a traditional or "clean" faced watch brand by any means. True, no club logo, but still not simple by any means and arguably too "busy" for formal wear. Again, personally, I don't think it's suitable if dressing formally but I don't see any problem with it when dressing casually. If you like the style (or the person you are buying it for would like the style), and want to buy it, I say go for it.
  20. Well done to the lads! What an accomplishment, they've certainly earned it.
  21. Older post to quote, but spot on here. The 2002 German team was very weak in relation to other German sides. Ballack and Kahn were the two individuals that carried Germany as far as they went. Kahn let in only one goal for the entire tournament until the match versus Brasil. I still believe Germany wins the 2006 WC if Frings doesn't get into that scuffle after the win over Argentina in penalties. Frings on the pitch would have made the difference against Italy. Once in the final, against France, I feel Germany would have won in a close match (maybe in pens, just like it was). Unfortunately (for me), that wasn't the way it happened. I would have loved seeing Ballack (and Kahn) lift the trophy at some point in his International career.
  22. After 27 years (1988 release, yes?) I still find when it's on the tele that I watch it. I have no idea how many countless times that I have watched it but not many movies are worth a repeat, multiple times, after so many years.
  23. I was going to watch this just because there isn't much else on. Think I'll just fire up a game or something instead.
  24. Die Hard, the original. My mum took me to see this when it first released. A good memory and a decent enough flick. The sequels ruined it imho, but the original was good.
  25. Part of the Qatar bid was their ability to have stadiums that would have cutting edge cooling technology to cool the stadiums during the torrid summer months. What happened to that? I guess FIFA did not realize that it gets extremely hot in Qatar in the summer... Right. Disappointing, frustrating, but not surprising.
