Well, well, well... This is one of the few times that I'm in agreement with DB. Ivan has been outstanding for this club. He's put in the shifts as required on different positions of the back line. He's never complained (at least not that I've heard). He's wanted to be at Chelsea FC and we damn sure want him here. He could be wearing the captain's armband once JT's time is done. You have to understand, it's not about today bjd. It was about what was said last year, earlier this season, a few months ago, last month, last week, the last few days, the last few hours, etc. And it's not just this thread, it's almost every thread where Torres has some type of involvement or non-involvement in a match. Some of the people that don't want Torres here, or just think he's garbage, seem to come up with any excuse in the book to slag the guy. Did he have a bad run of form? Yes, absolutely. Is he starting to come out of it? Yes. Is he working hard? Yes. I really could care less if it was a mis-hit or not. It appears that he looked down to purposely chip the ball and I think he got what he wanted. Only Torres knows the answer though, and I'm sure he doesn't care because Kalou finished it. Part of the reason people are snapping back, and this is just my opinion, is because we have been reading it on here for so long. The truth is, Rambo, Torres, and Kalou all did well on the play. The ball went in the net, it was the goal that secured us our three points, and that's what counts. Who really cares about the rest? I don't care if the ball went off of his face accidentally to get to Kalou. Without Torres, it doesn't happen. Torres is giving the club 100% effort and looking much better. I wish others (and I'm not saying you here bjd) would accept that. He's improving his form and helping us win.
