Let's not forget we looked to have top four sewn up at the end of January and then spent March and April playing chicken with Tottenham.

If you could change one result from your time watching Chelsea. What would it be and why ?
As far as I'm concerned, Newcastle/Blackburn did us on pens in the quarter finals and that result never happened. The two CL semis; I'd change it so Eidur buries it against Liverpool and/or Iniesta misses the ball completely, sh*tting himself in the process. Another result I'd change is the 2-2 against PSG in 2015 which got all the armchair activists chirping. I'd change it so we win, go on to win the CL, and the armchair activists all get done for fare evasion by Chelsea-supporting ticket inspectors.

Gerrard should be on his knees in an entirely different way... I would imagine that that clock's 40 years slow as well.

James McClean
I wonder what he'd do if everyone forgot about him by December. Probably put up enough Christmas lights on his house to drain half of the national grid.

Non-league
I went to Harrow Borough on Saturday for Winchester City's FA Cup match. We lost 2-1 after conceding in the 81st and 95th minutes, with a gang of gobby 12-year-olds giving it large at us throughout the second half. BTW, what's it like being a Chelsea fan at Hamlet? I'd have thought that any Chelsea fan showing their face at the ground would have received quite a bit of grief/heckling after the incident in Paris.

Here's something: Winchester City are at Taunton on 22nd October. Last time Winchester City travelled to Taunton, Jose lost in the league that same weekend.
