The more i think about it the less I want us to sign him. Thinking of it logically, spending £20m+ is a bit of an over spend when we're not in need of a striker. Paying that much will force Anelka out of his spot. Neymar doesnt seem to have the physical prowess to be able to cope in the premiership. If he didnt take the place of Anelka then what is the point of spending so much for a player to sit on the bench? Just because City are doing it doesnt mean we follow suit. If you look at him as a future prospect, then what about Sturridge? He is more than ready to grab double figures in appearances and goals this season. His temprement is all that lets him down. Avoiding Neymar, bringing on Sturridge and signing Lukaku would be epic. By the time Lukaku would be ready for a regular place, Sturridge would be the first name on the team sheet. Im all up for signing foreign youngsters if they're good enough, but we've got an almost complete package already. We may aswell piss the cash up the wall if we sign Neymar

Sturridge is an obvious choice It would be nice to see some slick step overs from Kakuta (long term replacement for Joe Cole in my opinion) Bruma will feature a lot early on I think (early cup draws) Sadly i haven't seen enough of Matic to pass comment

Only often injured because Liverpool couldn't affor to rest him. When Rafa decided to sign a back up striker by the name of Voronin, it sort of ruined the idea of Torres remaining fit for a season. He never had the problems at Madrid. He is a very good player and alongside Drogba it could be a rediculous threat. Sadly its not going to happen though :(

Ashley is easily the best Lb in the premiership, diplayed in no better fashion than his form last season. However, I think that last season will be his best and it'll start dropping off from here. Not that I mean that he'll become crap all of a sudden, but that he wont get any better. With the introduction of Coentrao we could afford to let Cole go. But Benzema isn't a Chelsea man deep down. He was epic at Lyon because he was a big fish in a small pond. At Real he wasn't used to not being the main man. If we were to get Higuain on the other hand I think I'd give Ashley a little push to hurry it along
