Zola Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 COME ON YOU BLUES! The Pre Season has made me very anxious by the way
sizzler85 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 whoever is saying Arsenal gonna win the league is absolutely out of his mind .. All they can manage is trashing newly promoted teams and get trashed by the likes of chelsea , ManUtd :)
Dorset Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Patrick Barclay has Arsenal first and Liverpool as runners-up - little wonder nobody takes him seriously these days!
yorkleyblue Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 and the only person to tip the dippers plays for..........................................the dippers ! ta-daaaaah!
Liam Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 So 23 of the 35 pundits think that the blues will win the leagure. So 12 of the 35 pundits think we won't win the league. Further proof, if proof be need be, that the media hates us. I think we should start a new thread.

fester Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 Don't forget the football behemoth that is Micky Quinn also tips them. He such a big Scally's fan that it's no surprise through his rose tinted tear-stained glasses. Have you ever heard him on TalkSh*te?
superdan Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Chelsea and Man Utd are the only 2 who are in EVERY pundits top 4 - enough said - is always an interesting season but we know who the two favourites are!
BlueNose Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 (edited) Wohoo...were definately going to win the league, its so obvious, all these PUNDITS think we will so we WILL! Edited August 13, 2010 by BlueNose

The Machine Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I don't listen to TalkSh*te. Oi! Don't slag of TalkSport. It is one of the finest broadcasting insitutions in the country. Getting back to the predictions that the pundits have made are quite frankly boring. Below is what I personally think the top Seven will be come the end of the season: 1. Manchester United 2. Manchester City 3. Arsenal 4. Chelsea 5. Liverpool 6. Tottenham 7. Everton I honestly believe that if Carlo does not sign a quality and experienced centre halve we will struggle, especially during the winter period of the season.
BlueNose Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I honestly believe that if Carlo does not sign a quality and experienced centre halve we will struggle, especially during the winter period of the season. true!
fester Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 I honestly believe that if Carlo does not sign a quality and experienced centre halve we will struggle, especially during the winter period of the season. What is the point of a youth academy - which we have heavily invested in - if we never TRUST the products? View it like this if you like ... Chelsea sign new Dutch International Defender: Hot defensive prospect Jeffrey Bruma today signed for DOUBLE WINNERS Chelsea.... How are meant to become experienced if we never play them?
Hutch Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Oi! Don't slag of TalkSport. It is one of the finest broadcasting insitutions in the country. please tell me you're being sarcastic? Getting back to the predictions that the pundits have made are quite frankly boring. Below is what I personally think the top Seven will be come the end of the season:1. Manchester United 2. Manchester City 3. Arsenal 4. Chelsea 5. Liverpool 6. Tottenham 7. Everton I honestly believe that if Carlo does not sign a quality and experienced centre halve we will struggle, especially during the winter period of the season. we're all entitled to our opinion. but i have to say i think you're being unduly pessimistic and that your predictions are way off.
Scott Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Martin Skrtel Liverpool defender 1 Liverpool 2 Arsenal 3 Chelsea 4 Man Utd A true football visionary.
TheWestwayWonder Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Jesus. I think I liked it better when they all hated us. Barclay
High Street Ken Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 He such a big Scally's fan that it's no surprise through his rose tinted tear-stained glasses. Have you ever heard him on TalkSh*te? I turn the radio off as soon as the spectacularly stupid Quinn takes the mic.
Zola's Love Child Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Don't forget the football behemoth that is Micky Quinn also tips them. Should have asked Jimmy Quinn instead. Now theres a footballing behemoth!

We have 3 of the best CBs in the league, best LB in the world, one of the best RBs in the league, and a stable of very promising youths including a international from a team who just placed 2nd in the WC....Who has a better defencive core than us in the EPL? Considering Bosingwa will be like a brand new signing and allow Ivan to play in CB, and we just signed a Brazil international holding mid to cover our back 4 plus getting back the beast Essien who is also immense in covering the back 4..... I think your making mountains out of mole hills! I wouldnt switch our defence for any other teams in this league, and most likely even in the world.
