Sturridge
I would rather have Sturridge flying around with the ball and shooting a couple times from 25 yards out, then getting the very few weak chances we have been getting. Some people get on Daniel for shooting to much and not looking for the pass, but at least he is creating something. We haven't been creating anything lately. Yesterday, we only had long balls from Cech.

Great post loz. That is 100% true. I will add though that just because somebody gives their opinion, it doesn't mean that another person can start a cuss-filled attack on them. Have some class people.

I agree with you 100%. I also have gotten very negative towards certain players and I admit that is wrong. BUT, when certain people, you know who you are, personally attack others it is disgraceful. Going out and calling people "cu*ts" and "fuc*ing idiots" is classes and they should be banned. Just because you have been a fan of this team for many many years does not give you the right to act like you own this forum.

If you want to try to sound rational and make people understand you, try not putting the word f**k in your post. I swear you are incapable of writing a post without the f word or c word. Disgraceful

Ha ha. When you are on tv as the Chelsea owner then you can talk like that. Until then, don't act like you know the team more than everybody else and don't act like you are better than everybody else. When you go a day without plastering the words f**k and c**t all over your posts then others will respect you.

Thats because we play the longball from cech or mikel every time.

Good thing we started in the boring, not creative 4-3-3 again. Now we will have to switch and play catch up again.

Essien and lampard could just sit and rest because all of these dumb long balls are taking them out of the game. Lampard needs the ball so why are we just knocking it long every time.

I agee. The long balls from cech are frustrating. They do nothing but lose possession. We do not look good right now. The only time we get the ball across half is from long balls. We gotta turn it in here.

Maybe tonight is a night for gael kakuta, after his contact being signed. No Sturridge means he could be the first attacker off the bench. wouldn't that be something if he scored.

So just Kakuta and the only true atta Ker on the bench. Hopefully we jump out and get on top first.

No Sturridge? Whats up with that?

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 27/12/10 KO 20:00 GMT
We will see Sturridge as some point. It's too bad that he can't get a start even after being the best play in training matches. Hopefully its not one of those 5 to 10 minutes at the end situations.

5-3-2 Formation
Why would we switch to a formation that is more defensive when we have so much trouble scoring goals?
-
Kakuta
This form comes from playing 90 minutes for a whole tournament, not playing 10 min here, 2 mins there, not playing for a couple games, playing for the reserves, and then getting 5 mintutes at the end of another game.

Chelsea v Manchester United (PL) 19/12/10 KO 16:00 GMT
There is a big difference between the 433 and the 4231. In a 433 there is no player playing in the middle, directly behind Drogba. The way you explain it Anelka and Malouda would be the wide players of the "3" in the 4231. Who is the middle player then? It's not Essien or mikel because they are the "2." It sure isn't ramires either. We never have someone there. It is a totally different system.

Kakuta for Loan
Deco and Joe Cole were used in creating positions, which is their natural position. Kakuta is also a creator/playmaker. It is very hard for a player like that to have a huge impact when playing on the wing all the time. He needs to play in the middle, behind the strikers where he can pass and create. That is the reason I dislike the 4-3-3 so much. We have area for creativity. The only playmaking passes come from the defensive midfielder, whether it is Mikel or Josh. And in my opinion, that is too far back to be successful.

Kakuta for Loan
I just think he needs to play as much as possible. I love that he is at Chelsea, but I can't help wonder how much playing time he would get in a league that isn't the PL. I'm sure he would have a full season under his belt by now in a less tough league.
-
Kakuta for Loan
There have been some rumours about Kakuta going out on loan in Jan. Who thinks this is a good idea? I feel that if he isn't going to get regular chances he should go out on loan. This kid IS is huge talent. This may be a stretch, but I compare him to Eden Hazard. Now before people go off on me, hear me out. Eden Hazard is 19 right now and already started 58 games and subbed in 30 more games. He played a full season as a 17 year old. In his first full season, when he played in 30 games he scored 4 goals and had 1 assist. This is the kind of production that Kakuta could have done in 30 games, I feel. I also think if Kakuta would have been in that the French League he would have been given more chances at an earlier age. Thats the downfall for coming to such a great club like Chelsea, limited chances. He needs chances to play

Chelsea v Manchester United (PL) 19/12/10 KO 16:00 GMT
My big concern is that we start in the 4-3-3 again, give up a goal and then have to catch up. Why don't we just start in a different formation so we can play like we did in the second half of the Spuds game? It seems like we moved more people foward and went to a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 with the outside midfielders farther foward. I think we need to bring pressure from the start. Don't let Man U dictate the game.

Champions League draw - round of 16
Why would we want to play Milan? They are playing.g great right now. Even though we all dislike zlatan, he is in great form. Plus they are playing that good without Pato. If we would draw them he would be back by then. It would very tough to beat them. I would rather play inter or Roma.

Hopefully we don't play Roma, Carlo may walk to the wrong bench....just kidding.
