Chelsea vs Ipswich (FAC) KO: 15:00 [09-01-2011]
How about a Kakuta goal and one more from Danny to cap this thing off. First ever hat trick and first ever goal from the youngsters.

Both right footed. WHo said he can't finish?

Adel Taarabt & Mesut Ozil
Actually think Taarabt is a good player. He is also young. Not sure how you could even think about Ozil? He just moved and Real would be crazy to sell him.

Neven Subotic
Hazards stats at Lille: 11 goals and 12 assists in 85 appearances. I would seriously bet Kakuta could do that in the French league. 85 games played is a lot.

Neven Subotic
We have the exact same player in Kakuta. Look at the Hazards stats. Kakuta could put up those numbers in the many, many appearances that Hazard already has. Kakuta just hasn't gotten the same opportunities because he plays for Chelsea and plays in a tougher league.

Chelsea 7 (seven ) Rottenham 3
I am just kidding, but I am just showing the type of usual comments you can see from your beloved YorkleyBlue. When he is the one being negative, someone should come and call him a "plastic fuc*" like he does every day.

Sturridge
My thing is that if Danny would get a start he would be giving 110% out there, unlike Anelka or Drogba who seem like they are slow and not motivated. He would be motivated to score and play well. Plus, he has a confidence that some of our regulars don't have.

Sturridge
Hat trick in the first 10 minutes, scoring two more in the game. Tell Daniel what he has won.....You get to play the final 10 minutes in the next game! And Gael, you get to play the final 2 minutes for your good play.

Wolverhampton Wanderer v Chelsea (PL) 05/01/2011 19:45 GMT
Cmon Hutch. Give me a break. Ya, he didn't say "it wasn't my fault," but he did say " I was marking my man." When is the last time you heard JT or Alex say something like that. NEVER. Terry always something like, "As a defense, WE didn't get the job done today. WE allowed too many goals." Oh by the way, in the 3 games that he has started this year, the team has given up 8 goals. But I'm sure he was marking his man.

2 for Bruma? Maybe 2 minutes played. Maybe 2 times he has to get up and stretch from the bench. Anybody who is quoted saying that a goal wasn't his fault after a game shouldn't play in the next.

New striker in January?
At this point, (dip in form, trouble scoring goals) how does a coach go out and say we need new players when there are players in the bench that he doesn't give a chance. At this point, what is the harm letting Sturridge play maybe 3 matches in a row? He can't do worse than Anelka or Malouda up front. I agree we need some new players, but not before players like Sturridge get a fair chance. Sturridge is not an 18 year kid just getting to the first team. He needs a LEGITIMATE chance.

New striker in January?
Mata - "an auxiliary striker who can play in the middle and out wide, only 22, has time to develop, etc." Um hello! Isnt that Daniel Sturridge? Why go out and buy a new striker when we have the same player on the bench? Would Mata have to split the 10 minutes that Sturridge gets at the end of a game?

Mancienne
How is the captain of one of England's youth teams not Chelsea quality? He is ahead of Bruma, in my opinion. Much more versatile.

Gary Cahill
Question: Wouldn't the adjustment time for a big defender like Luiz be much shorter, if any, than somebody like the skinny midielder Ramires? I mean defending is defending. Luiz is a big guy and should not have trouble adjusting.
-
Gary Cahill
I wouldn't mind that at all. I have been impressed by cahill. He was tough on our strikers yesterday and he his big enough to handle the punishment that somebody like Drogba can dish out. Plus, another huge plus is that he is really good in the air. He seemed like a big target yesterday even with our defenders on him. I would welcome him.

Malouda has been a disappointment again. His passes have been bad and he is whining constantly. He needs to pick it up.

I have a good feeling about today. The players know what they have to do and I think they will execute. I really want them to come out strong from the first couple minutes. 2-0 win. goals from Lampard and, wait for it..... Ramires!

Kaka
I am not totally sold on this idea. Kaka has struggled to stay healthy the last two years and when he is healthy he has been way off form. I know he can be a world class talent, but he doesn't fit our system. Where would he play? We would have to change the formation so he can play in the middle, behind the strikers. plus, 50 million could be spent on somebody like Neymar or Hazard.
