If they were willing to give 35 for Neymar they will do at least 25 for lukaku. Lukaku is for real. He is just as good as Neymar, he just doesn't get they same hype. Being a Brazilian and all the Pele/next robinho stuff gives him more hype.

I agree with everything you said, but at some point we need to define Ivan. Is he our third CB or a RB? We need 3 top level CB like when we had Terry, Alex, and Carvahlo. If Ivan is going to be that CB, then we need more RB cover. We surely need one more defender for depth reasons.

Qatar's world cup will be a huge failure. There is not enough room. Security will be a huge problem. Terrible decision on both the 2018 and 2022. A world cup in England and the USA, especially one year after another would only improve the popularity of the sport. Qatar does nothing for the sport. Russia can't do the same that England can. It's that simple.

Not saying we should or shouldn't bring him in, but we needs someone with a little edge to them. Ballack was always good for shoving somebody every once in a while. We don't have many guys that are very intimidating. Ballack always brought an edge with his play. Ramires is actually pretty fiesty but too little to scare anybody.

I agree. How can people get on Sturridge when he gets 10 min here and there. Kalou gets to play the whole game, scores a goal that would have been saved if not deflected, misses an absolute no brainer and he gets praised. It's not fair. I think Sturridge has played well this year. Well enough to get a couple more starts.

How is what I said about Carlo any differnt from what you said about a poster's comments? It's ok for you to personally attack a poster with name calling, but it's not ok for me to be mad at a bad decision from Carlo? You do the same thing. Did you not just say this??? You are all over every person that has something negative to say. Well, guess what? Before yesterday, the team lost 3 out of 4. That is pretty negative. And a 2-1 win over a bad team yesterday isn't the most postive thing in the world. Wouldn't you be a little more confident if we would have won 2-0 or 3-0. You can't be positive all the time, especially when the team is playing as bad as they have. You can't just jump on people because of negative comments. This article is bull. The only part of this article that seems to be true at the moment is the bit about replacing players and it is starting to concern me a little. There is no replacing lampard or Drogba. It's that simple. If the club has said that we will not be same in the transfer market it will be hard to maintain the same caliber of players. That seems very critical of a player who was our best player today. I would rather see a player take the shots that he does from 25-30 yards out then watch us pass the ball 5 times and then pass it backwards, or go to a cross that usually goes nowhere. Just because he doesn't connect every time doesn't mean he needs to learn how to finish. The keeper made an incredible save on one that he sent to the far post. Not all keepers would get to that. Sturridge had a great game.

Even if it costs him some of his youngsters? The more playing time Kakuta doesn't get, the bigger chance he leaves this summer. Its that simple. Those "main players" aren't that young by the way. They don't have too much time left.
