Many of you are saying we shouldn't overreact after one loss and that we would have won if Lamp and Essien were in there. You are right, we would have won if they were there, BUT there is a problem in that thinking. They won't be there forever. Lamps is getting up there in age. We don't have anybody that can fill that role after Lampard. Josh is way too young to put that pressure on him. We need to find another player like him that is young. That should be our first priority.

Dzagoev is a good player but Ganso is better. He has a better ability to create and score.

There was and still is talk about a santos player that we should sign but we need to focus on "the other" santos player. Hanson is the guy we need to sign. He is a great midfielder and he would fit that file perfectly.

In the last month to 2 months, to me, the problem has been the same in every game we play. There is hardly any link from the midfield to our attack. We have seen Lampard been the link for how long and it shows big time when he is not in there. We don't have any other midfielders that can play that link with any creativity. Essien and Ramires are not links. They are box to box guys, not possesion guys. Mikel is a perfect defensive midfielder. I personally feel that Yuri is way to left sided to be a good link. Yossi was supposed to fit into that role but he is out. Josh seems to have that creative ability like lampard, but he is still very young and that is a lot pressure to put on a kid. Same goes for Kakuta, but he is more of a winger. Moving Malouda back into the midfield may work but he has been good on the left wing. Unless we are ready to hand Josh some more chances, we really need to find a "creator," besides Lampard.

Boswinga getting ready? Dont agree with that move. Ya he is better attaking then Ivan, but we need a true attacker to come on.

BRING IN SOME CREATIVITY!! Drogba for Anelka, Sturridge for Kalou, Kakuta or Josh, or a midfielder.

Just like every other game without Lampard, we have no creativity in the midfield. Players like Mikel, Ramires, and Essien are all the same. Not very creative in the middle. Yuri is way to left sided to create. We need a player like Lampard, Josh, or Kakuta in the midfield to be a creative link to the attackers.

Big time Fifa player. I think the best feature is the ability to edit formations. I love being able to position each player and actually change their position. Plus, you can edit their workrate and specific runs they make. I took the regular 4-3-3 formation and spread it out. I also made a 4-2-4 formation. Its really a 4-2-1-4, but I made the "1" a CF so it is labelled as a 4-2-4. With both Essien and Mikel as the "2" CDM we still defend well.

Just watched the highlight of his free kick against Liverpool in the CL a couple years ago. When they show him in slow motion pumping his fist, it is priceless. Great Moment. Great Kick.

Were you watching the game that everybody else was? All he did was make an easy diagonal pass to Anelka. Everything else was terrible. He should have had two goals himself but he can't finish. "Sharp," isn't the word to use. Sloppy would be better.

The one question that I always ask myself is, how many goals would Sturridge score if he had the same amount of playing time as Kalou? Kalou gets a lot more time, though I believe that Sturridge is just as good as Kalou. He just hasn't had the same opportunities. Kalou struggles with finishing just as much.

Malouda will be out according to ESPN. who gets the start on the left up front? Kalou? Sturridge? I wouldn't mind seeing Sturridge play from the start with the rest of the starters. Kalou was not impressive at all midweek.

Correction: he was the captain of Nigeria up to the world cup. He got hurt and didn't play so someone else was given the band. Still, he was picked to captain the team for the world cup.

I know this doesnt mean much but he is the captain of the Nigeria national team.

He just doesn't get enough credit! How good has he been this year? And today's game showed what he does for this team. He controls everything in that midfield. Early on, everything went through him. His passing has been great, especially the long balls. He has defended well all year long and is a great tackler. This is the kind of player who I can see getting a captain armband in the far away future.

Good second half for sure. Cant wait for the next couple CL games. The youngsters get to play a lot. Thought Josh, Sturridge, and Kakuta looked good today.

I agree, why not sub now. 10 minutes does nothing. Let the youngsters play 25 - 30 min.

Ok, whoever said Ramires was poor is on crazy. He has been great this second half.
