I agree. Both Ghana and Germany look good. Ghana actually looks better in attack but just can't make that last pass and finish. Germany is very organized and strong. They don't give up much. Both teams will be tough.

I was just going say say the same thing about Bradley. He is still very young and controls the midfield really well for his age. Plus, he never gets tired and does have the ability to score from the defensive midfield position. Now I am not saying he should play at Chelsea. He is nowhere near that good, but I think he could play for a team like Fulham, Birmingham City, or even Everton. He is much better than Holden and he is at Bolton.

Mixed emotions today with the USA game. Absolutely terribe day for the ref. Not only the disallowed goal, but the yellow card on Findley when the ball hit him in the face. That's two yellows for Findley and he won't be able to play because of it. I am very positive though. I feel that England will win againsts both Algeria and Slovenia easily and the USA should be able to beat Algeria to advance. England and USA advance, just like it should be.

15 goals for City in his first year in the Premier League. How is that not proof. The PL is the toughest and the most physically demanding league in the world. You would take anybody not named Robinho if they scored 15 goals, especially in their first year.

I agree. Many players on Brazil have been much better than Kaka. Kaka has been terrible. It just looks like he can't move anymore. Fabiano has been terrible also. Makes me wonder how Ronaldinho and Pato would have done?

Ha Ha. I understand your thinking, but your situation is a made up "fun" situation. You have to put yourself in the shoes of Carlo or Roman. If City comes to you and says hey, you can have Robinho for 12 mil. You would really have to consider something like that.

No that's not the case at all. I have said from the beginning that Robinho would not be the best signing and I feel we shouldn't go for him, but if we could get him cheap (less than 15 mil) then it is stupid not to sign someone with that talent. You don't budge from your "I don't want him full stop" attitude. My thinking if very different from yours. I agree with you that he isn't the best player to go after, but I disagree with you in the aspect that we should never go after him even with the right price and circumstances. Understand?

Loz, you are just so blind towards other opinions and ideas besides your own. You can't honestly say that signing Robinho for less then 15 mil would be a bad thing. There is proof all over that he plays great, with a great attitude, on a team that can keep his attitude in check. Watch him for Brazil. Watch his first year at City. He plays motivated. He plays positive. IF Chelsea could keep him positive, which I think they could, he would make a great signing. You have made up your mind and you can't see anything else.

Oh boy, loz says he doesn't want a player so that means everybody should agree with him. Just because you have millions of posts doesn't make you right all the time. ok so by your thinking, putting a player that sometimes has a bad attitude on a team with a reputation of of that will help the player? Are you kidding? If you put a player with a bad attitude on a team that doesn't stand for that stuff would help him more. Somebody like Carlo would put him in his place and may help him. He would see that if he has a good attitude he is morel likely to help a team win trophies. Look at Drogba. Lots of people say the same things about him. He has grown up and become a more mature person here at Chelsea. Teams like Chelsea, and managers like Carlo can do that to people. Teams like City allow the bad behavior.

You would be crazy to say that you would rather have Kalou than Robinho. 15 goals in 08/09 with Real Madrid. 18 goals in his first season with City. They are not Drobga numbers but they are good numbers. He obviously is a good player. Put him in the right situation and he would act and play the way he can. Look at him for the National team. He is very succussful because he is in a good situation. I am not saying signing him is a must, but if Chelsea would sign him, I think they are the kind of club that can provide that situation. There is stability here that cannot be found at a place like City. City seems like a club that is just going through the motions, but not doing anything.

Its really not as terrible as most people on this board say the idea is. Most people on here are still bitter that he didn't come here a couple years ago. The truth is, yes he has had some attitude problems, but he is a HUGE, HUGE upgrade over somebody like Kalou. He would take that right side and probably play pretty well there. I would say it is a good idea IF we could get him for cheap. It all depends on the price.

How many goals did Messi score? He played well, don't get me wrong, but there were two maybe three shots that were extremely selfish where a simple pass would have led to a goal.

The clearout has begun. Cole, Ballack, Paulo, have been released. Stoch has been transferred out. Deco will probably follow, maybe even Hilario. All these players going makes me think we will sign one, maybe two BIG names for sure. I really think with the recent developments that Pato has a good chance of coming here. Aguero is another good possibility. When will a big name signing actually happen?

Pato wears number 7 now and he loves the number 7. It should be his number at Chelsea. Aguero wears number 10 at Ath. Madrid. It should be his number at Chelsea. Those two guys give us a great attack for years and years to come.

Maybe, but Pato is an improvement over Cole right now. Pato is more of a scoring threat where Cole is more of a creator for others. Pato has never played with strikers like Drogba and Anelka so he probably would create many chances for them also.

Today Pato has switched his recent talks about his future. He now is saying it is too early to say whether he will stay at AC Milan. He was very quick to say he would stay there in recent weeks, but now he has totally went the other way. I still feel that Pato would be the best possible signing for us because he gives a great player we need on the right wing and will be the central striker we need in the future for years to come.

What the heck is wrong with Rooney? He got warned yesterday for swearing at the ref! Now I am an American and I will root for the USA first, but I have realistic expectations. I know England is a far better team and I will root for them second, but Rooney makes me so mad. Why can't that idiot control himself? He could cost the England time a lot in this World Cup.

Also, I may be wrong, but I think Nike owns Umbro. Nike sells the England Kits on their website, along with other Umbro stuff.

Personally, I feel that Adidas designs are the worst. Nike, Puma and Umbro make much better designs. Look at this year's World Cup Jerseys. All the good ones are Nike, Puma, and Umbro. Nike has teams like Brazil, USA, Portugal, Netherlands. Puma does most of the african teams and Umbro does Engalnd. Their designs are great. Nike would be a huge upgrade if Chelsea ever switch.
