Our strikers never touch the ball because our tactics are terrible right now. we would be better off with Yuri and Malouda shooting from 40 yards out because we can't get the attackers the ball. Personally, I feel this should be Sturridge's game, not Kalou's. Give Sturridge an oppurtunity to show that he can be in the starting lineup. If he doesn't produce then you can go back to Kalou. Sturridge needs a chance, not 7 minutes at the end of a game where all we do is defend. It isn't fair to him.

Just watched the post game interview after Fulham with Mikel. You listen to the guy talk and he really does show captain qualities. The interviewer kept asking him about his individual play and confidence and he directed all of his answers toward the team and how he is happy doing what he is doing as long as the team is succesful. Remember, Mikel is still a young kid and to see him talk like this and act like this is very impressive. I am not saying he should be captiain of this team because Terry is our captain and a legend, but I feel he should be considered if he is here in the long term future.

The call was bull, but there's no reason for him to go two footed like that with 1 minute left. Not the smartest decision. I'm sure it will be reduced though.

3 points is 3 points but the commentators were right when they said there has been trouble scoring in the last 7 games. Something has to change. Tactics? Players? I don't know. Sturridge should have come on much earlier for Kalou who couldn't find the net even if there wasn't a keeper. Malouda was extremely lazy with his passes and effort and deserved to come off.

Good first half. Kalou, again, can't score. Drogba looks like he is taking time off at points. Wonder how healthy he really is? I find it very hard to believe he is even close to 100% back from malaria. It has showed at times. Mikel again has looked great. Let's go get 3 more goals.

I agree. There is no real danger in starting him. He's not some random reserve.

The guy is a prick for saying this, but he may have a point. We will never know how good of an attacking player he could be. I am not saying he should move. He has become, in my mind, one of the best defensive midfielders in the league. He is great at what he does. Who knows if he could do something different. By the way, this is the third time I have heard this claim from somebody from Nigeria.

I agree with what you said, but wouldn't you want more than one player like that. Yes, we will have Josh as a first choice in two years...hopefully. But he can't play the whole season, and he will still be very young and inexperienced. Why not sign another young creative midfielder so that both Josh and him could grow together.

Where did I say I thought Lampard career was over? I agree he has two seasons left. But why not buy a player now and let him play a little bit and learn from the best.
