I agree. Pato is a much better fit than Aguero. Pato can play a central role or on the right side in our 4-3-3. Just think, next year's front three would be Malouda, Drogba, and Pato. Pato can always move into the middle and have Sturridge play outside.

I have heard that many times also. Kakuta, Sturridge, Borini, Bruma, Van Aanholt, Hutchinson, and Matic are all possibilities. Sturridge most likely doesn't count and Bruma nd Van Aanholt are better than Hutchinson. So the five could be Kakuta, Borini, Bruma, Matic, and Van Aanholt.

I might. If I don't, it doesn't matter. I think the techfit is a really cool technology. It not only helps you physically, but I also really like how it looks.

I have been doing some research and it turns out that the jerseys that the players will be wearing will not be available to buy. I know that is how it sometimes works but I was disappointed when I read that. Their jerseys will be the new adidas techfit, which is really cool by the way. The ones that you can buy are adidas climacool. It's too bad. I was really hoping to get a techfit style shirt.

So I am an American in the US and I work at Whistling Straits Golf Course, one of the best courses in the world, and I met some guys from England on Saturday. We got to talking about football and I told them I was a Chelsea supporter and they were giving me a hard time. They were all Man Utd. fans and were saying many things about how Liverpool would win on Sun and that Man Utd deserved to be champs this year. They went on to make fun of specific players like Lampard and Drogba. They even paid for their golf and merchandise with Man Utd credit cards! Well, I worked Sunday also, after the game, and saw them again. Needless to say they weren't as talkative that day. They joked a little bit but it was nice feeling to see them with their feet in their mouths.

Everybody is forgeting to think about "Market Value." Aguero is a young player who already is very established and has the potential to be a top 10-15 player in the world. I would say he is worth 40 million. Years ago the market was a lot cheaper. Oh and if Ronaldo was sold for 80 million, Messi is worth at least that much. Messi for 40 million would only happen in a dream.

I know to never trust any rumour or news article till it is official, but for fun, lets assume Aguero will be at Chelsea next year. Does signing somebody like him rule out any other move for another striker. For example, Pato? I know there may be some spending on a defender and/or a midfielder but how much money do we expect that Roman will dish out?

This is way off topic, but I was watching the Athletico Madrid game today to watch Aguero and I had to shut the game off because of Ray Hudson. Does anybody else feel that he talks way too much and is way over the top? Settle down man.

I don't know how confident I am with Ashley Cole back. I know that sounds stupid, but Yuri has been one of our best players the last month and he is great on the offensive end. I feel he is better then Cole on offense with Cole being a little better on the D side.

Agreed completely. If you look at next year's kit, it really isn't that different from this year's kit. There are some subtle changes but that's it. New kits will come out because of money. Plus, big companies like adidas and nike come out with new technology every year so the players will wear that technology. They will have the best.

i know I am in the minority, but I absolutely love the red! I feel that there is a perfect amount of red to give a little flare to the shirt. It is not like the red is distracting. If you go to the official store you can see larger pictures and see that there is more detail to the shirt and that the shorts actually have a red trim on the bottom. It looks really cool.

I watched the Barcelona v Arsenal game today and I don't think Barcelona played a long ball once. Their keeper even made short passes on goal kicks. Now, I am not saying we should be like Barcelona. I feel we are just as good as they are and I actually really dislike them because of last year, but they never gave possession away and it was much easier for them to control the game. The long ball just ruins things sometimes.

Does anybody else feel that passing back to the keeper and watching him launch a long ball is giving away possession too many times? I know having somebody like Drogba up front helps because he can hold off defenders trying to head the ball but why not just pass to an open defender and build the possession up? Same could go for some goal kicks. A team like Chelsea can hold possession through its passing and kicking the long ball gives up our possession quickly. Any thoughts?

why is everyone on sturridge? he has looked the most lively and actually trying to get to goal compared to everyone else who just passes back to the keeper. You can't call the elbow stupid because it was accidental.

Wow, another dissapointing half. Should really be 0-0, but a terrible mistake gives Drogba a goal. It seems, again, that we can't find ways to get to the goal. We haven't had any real chances outside of Lampards strike from 30 yards. The field is wet and it makes it difficult but there are hardly any chances against a very bad team in Portsmouth. I expected a lot more chances at this point.

If I were Sturridge, I would have told Carlo to FU*K OFF when he told me to go in at the 90th mintue. Are you kidding me?? He should have been in there from the first minute, not that washed up old fool Anelka. He can't score, he can't pass, he can't do anything. He is killing our attack.

This team is terrible right now. They don't deserve anything. Carlo is a terrible manager and has no clue how to manage a game. We need scorers and he puts Deco in? He waits until the 90th minute to put Sturridge in, when Anelka is clearly the worst player on the field? I am so pissed with Anelka. He comes back to get the ball and then gives it away every time. Terrible passes.

This may be in the wrong section, but does anybody know where you can see highlights from yesterday's reserve game against Stoke? Two goals from Sturridge and one from Kakuta and I want to see them. Thanks.

He is nowhere near as talented as you say. He is not even close to somebody like Messi. The one thing he has going for him is his ball skills. He is very good with the ball. You say he has a good eye for the goal, but he NEVER scores. We have players that don't score from the midfield. We don't need another. Plus, we are set onteh left side. We have Cole, Malouda, Yuri, Kakuta, Sturridge, and Matic. All are left footed and have years in front of them. We don't need a guy that can ONLY play onthe left wing. Now don't get me wrong, Di Maria is a good player. He would bring instant talent and depth to the team, but he just doesn't fit the system that we run here. He is limited to a single position, on the left wing, and we don't use a left winger that often.

Is Kalou even playing? I know he is in the lineup but it doesn't even seem like he is on the pitch. Where is he hiding?

Didn't Ballack say something similar weeks ago? He said something about playing in the World Cup and then he didn't know about his playing future and might retire. (If I rememeber right) That would be nice to have Ballack and Deco go. They are solid players but not what we need right now. They are the decline.
