The banner will not weigh any more than about 2-3 kilos max, i have been assured of that.

When Loz gets back we will vote on it, I'm easy on the design, i am also paying for it out of my pocket. I'm under instructions from all quarters here and its impossible to keep everyone happy, hope you understand Jane, thanks for your valued opinion, I'm sure Loz will take it all into account when he returns later today, please dont think that I personally am making any decisions , as I'm not, I'll have my vote the same as everyone else. It could be pink with yellow dots for all i care. I'm just helping this thing get of the ground thats all.

If you can afford it, fine, but not everyone can. Doesn't make them any less of a fan. Also for families who have kids, who are all fans, that's an awful lot of money to shell out. Nobody has said that to be fair ^. Some season ticket holders & members dont but the replica shirts either. Where were UEFA when Italian teams were ruling the roost ? If they do this then i would love the Premiership clubs to fight back and boycott all UEFA tournamnets. Talk about moving the goalposts.

Back to the design, it is a dilemma, should we go with eye catching graphics, or should we go with the norm ? The banner must be more than jus blue/white, maybe PINK will get noticed more ? lol I'm easy about the design and wording, but we must include the words 'chelsea fc', have a union flag and a club crest. I'm pretty sure we will be going with Maksimov's wording 'PROUD HISTORY, BRIGHT FUTURE'. Anyway i will keep you all posted. Many thanks for your support.....YOU ARE ALL SUPERB !

I disagree, about it being pointless bjd. Have you ever seen www. on a football banner before ? I havnt seen any. The banner isnt about bringing new members to the forum (although that would be nice), its merely a way of representing the fans from this forum on the day who cannot make it. Putting http://www.theshedend.com on it will only put it at risk of being pulled down by ground stewards. Fair enough about representing the forum. But i didnt mean the full url just shedend.com. Anyway its up to you. And for the record there are plenty of banners out there with a web address on it. its not as if its advertising tescos or anything! Not that the Russian authorities will be able to read it anyway. When Loz gets back tonight I'll see what he says about it. I would like to put 'theshedend.com' on it
